España mantiene oficialmente, todavía hoy, una reclamación de soberanía sobre Gibraltar. El acuerdo de 2026 con Reino Unido mejoró la cooperación práctica, pero dejó intactas las respectivas posiciones sobre soberanía. Así que presentar a España como ejemplo de país «psicológicamente no afectado» por una posesión británica vecina exige ignorar deliberadamente siglos de conflicto diplomático hispano-británico sobre Gibraltar. Y cuando la misma fórmula aparece aplicada una y otra vez contra la reivindicación argentina sobre Malvinas, empieza a parecer menos una reflexión espontánea que una consigna. Porque una cosa es discutir el reclamo argentino. Otra muy distinta es hacerlo fingiendo que Gibraltar no existe como contencioso de soberanía.
