Proud to showcase our first-of-its-kind platform unifying EDI + API + AI so merchants on Shopify, Shopify Plus & Shopify B2B can scale operations, automate workflows, and move data with trust and speed.
We’re building the modern backbone for global B2B commerce, powering the mission-critical workflows behind the products we all rely on.
DM to learn more. Let’s GO! #Crstl #B2B #Shopify
Incredibly tragic. Adam was an inspiration to so many entrepreneurs. So many lives turned upside down. RIP. 🌼
Arranged marriages are back.
I’d like to help my friend get married! Who knows someone good in SF? (He spoke at my wedding and it’s high time I returned the favor.)
Broad strokes: he’s 31, gainfully employed, small-r religious, and looking to get married and have kids. Ideally, you’re a woman 26-32, and similar! Read below and shoot me a DM if you think of a match — I’ll intro if it’s a match!
Who he is
TLDR is that he’s a put-together adult. He’s built a life he really likes, but there’s plenty of room to build something new with the right person.
He’s incredibly generous with his time and effort; what’s important to you will be important to him.
He’s excited to enjoy the day-to-day with someone as much as he looks forward to the grand adventures.
Enjoys his hobbies (cooking/hosting, snowboarding, lifting-weights-without-being-weird-about-it) but without being obsessive. He derives a lot pleasure from making people laugh and has been known to engage in a good prank now and then.
He cares about work in the sense of wanting to do a good job and show up well, but isn’t defined by work and has good work-life balance.
My DMs are open!

Any pursuit of superintelligence has to be grounded in the core principle that if the AI we build is not helping humanity and under human control, it's not worth pursuing.
We also need to accelerate and spread the benefits of AI, such that they are diffused broadly across countries, communities, and companies. This requires a frontier ecosystem in which both closed and open-source models can thrive.
And for firms, it’s imperative that they retain full control over their unique and tacit knowledge. Every organization should be able to build its own continuous learning loop/hill climbing machine, without becoming dependent on any one model provider, and have the ability to embed its own knowledge into models and weights they control.
So, in this context, we welcome the research, focus, and deliberate pacing needed to get alignment right as the design goal. We also welcome ideas like "embedded evaluators" and the broader efforts to develop the mechanisms to make this more than just talk.
The key is that this cannot be controlled by a handful of entities, but must have broad representation across the ecosystem, countries, and fields, including academia.
This is the approach we are taking: broad access and choice at every layer of the AI stack; enterprise control of learning loops and models; and the “Code of Conduct” that underlies our own first party MAI models that we’ll publish tomorrow for public consultation.
There are only two types of people who race bait:
1. A small % of the population, and especially politicians in whose interest it is to divide us regardless of the country
2. Anon accounts / bots
This is why it’s important to get out in the world & experience it for yourself.

To SPSC? Or just in general. I think if you are looking for a case study on how to disrupt this specific market would be @diptidesaisf and CRSTL.
Shes building the company to fix a lot of problems with that specific EDI space that's been neglected.
Everywhere else? happy to
These days when I start talking (to my agents, who else), my husband takes off his headphones thinking I’m talking to him 😭
Can someone explain the American obsession with bringing their kids into everything from PM frameworks to sales and everything in between? Literally never seen this happen with people from elsewhere — Europe, Asia, Africa whatever. It’s cliched, tiresome, and pointless. Thx.
As avid global travelers pre-Covid, this was essentially the realization. Now it takes *a lot* to get us to fly anywhere for a “vacation”.
modern travel is increasingly flying 10 hours to experience a slightly different version of the same globally optimized lifestyle.
same third wave coffee. same natural wine bar. same brutalist menu. same sourdough. same beige hotel. same tasteful ceramics. same instagram lighting.
what a ridiculous convergence.

I find all of this unrelatable.
I’ve always felt respected, even as an IC. As a founder, I have always felt respected in the many rooms I’ve been in, even when I am rejected.
Know your stuff, do the work, have fun, and you don’t have to play any of these low level games.
let me seriously contribute to the hot tech girl discourse, as a middle aged woman in tech: appearance and presentation is one of the small disproportionate points of leverage young women have in an industry that’s extremely hostile to them otherwise. and even then: it’s not always a good trade.
I’ve told this story many times, but the reason I didn’t get my CS degree many, many moons ago (including a scholarship to CMU!) is I walked into room after room where no one looked like me. Not only were there no women, but there wasn’t anyone who seemingly cared at all about style or charm. The room might as well said: no hot girls allowed.
20 years in tech and startups and hot girl commentary has been inescapable. Watching men wonder out loud if the female SWE interviewing is hot. The uniform hotness of enterprise sales reps. The Botox, boob jobs, eyelash extensions, and impressively toned arms on 50+ yo female executives. The cutie pie devx yt streamers. The “new to SF” posters.
But before you envy the hot girl (or complain about her rising leverage) also trust this: looks are — on the whole — a miserable downside to being a woman in tech. She will be told she’s only in the room because she’s hot. She will be dismissed as vapid, or preying on men, or needy for attention. She’ll be asked to go on stage or in a booth or on a video in a way that doesn’t make her feel great. She’ll look good for her age and people will presume she’s inexperienced. She will have not-hot days and be told she looks tired. She will be newly pregnant or postpartum and be called fat. She will grow old and wonder if the Botox and boob job and eyelash extensions will give her another decade in the career that she loves. She will tune her “touch up my appearance” settings like her job depends on it. She will wonder when she needs to disappear.
So be kind—to these women, and yourself. These girls are hot, but they’re also smart, hard working, and hyper aware this tool probably has a shelf life. It’s probably not as fun as it seems.
They have feelings, too (even if they’re tough as nails and don’t show it.)
And to the sisterhood of hot tech girls: I salute you! 💅

A lot of people keep asking me why in my mid-50s and financially independent I'm not retired. We don't ask artists, musicians, or scientists when they'll retire. We ask what they're building next.
We've normalized throwing away decades of accumulated experience at the exact moment people have the most judgment. AI is making execution cheaper and judgment more valuable.
This is a societal bug. You earn the right to choose your pace and pick what you build. But you keep building.

You can take the dog out of the fight, but not the fight out of the dog.
"I've been entrepreneuring for a long time. And I have failed. When I think about why I failed, it's usually because I was building something that nobody liked."
Asked about AI alignment, @travisk says the same lesson applies to AI: technology that doesn't serve humans ultimately won't succeed.
"If you make something that is anti-human, if you make something that doesn't serve people, I don't think you're going to make it."
See you at @Shopify #DotDev2026 this coming week! There’s nothing like getting together with the broader community of builders and entrepreneurs.
