How miserable can you be. Everyone wants personality in the sport and as soon as a young guy shows some it’s think pieces from these losers

It never ceases to amaze me how hockey media will endlessly bemoan the lack of personality shown by players but then immediately label any visible personality as bad. And then fail to make the connection between those two things.
O-Dog warns that Devin Cooley's fun interviews could backfire if his play worsens 👀😅 #OverDrive

A message from Emily, Dustin, and the Byfuglien family to you, Winnipeg 💙 I’ve been trying to find the right words to describe what this weekend meant to our family, and I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to do it justice. Winnipeg, you gave us something this weekend that I didn’t realize how much I needed. A goodbye we never really got to have. The way our chapter in Winnipeg ended wasn’t how any of us imagined it would. There were a lot of emotions, a lot left unsaid, and a goodbye that never really happened. For years, I’ve carried a little sadness about that. Not because of the hockey, but because of the people. Because Winnipeg was never just about hockey to us. It was a city that embraced our family, watched our children grow, celebrated with us, and stood behind us through so many incredible years. The friendships, the memories, the familiar faces in the stands, and the kindness we experienced are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Coming back this weekend and feeling that same love after all these years was overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Every hug, every kind word, every person who stopped us to share a memory or simply say hello reminded me just how special this city and its people truly are. I know the ending was complicated. I know there were feelings on all sides. But this weekend reminded me that sometimes the love and memories you leave behind are bigger than the way a chapter ends. And maybe that’s what made this weekend so emotional. We finally got to feel the goodbye we missed, and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. To the fans who loved and supported our family for all those years, and who welcomed us back like no time had passed, thank you. You gave us more than you probably realize. Winnipeg will always hold a piece of my heart. Not because of the games, the wins, or the hockey, but because of the people who made it feel like home. Some chapters don’t end the way we hoped. But sometimes, if we’re lucky, we get one more moment to remember just how beautiful they were. Thank you, Winnipeg. For all of it. Xo

Huge shoutout to @Mackinnon9 for sending Maya this special jersey with a sweet message. I just got it in a frame, and I can’t wait to decorate her room with it once she’s out of the hospital!

the same team that did nothing to condemn the behaviour of their fans after the hateful and islamophobic rhetoric their players and coach spread about nazem kadri during the 2022 playoffs which led to him and his family getting death threats…

I’m so glad we hired a piece of shit coach to show us that when McDavid and draisaitl aren’t producing the Oilers cant score goals. Who else could have provided us this valuable information? Surely not the other five coaches in the McDavid-Draisaitl era

I swear we NEED to actually gatekeep non-artists from sharing their dogshit opinions on art more often. It's NOT $15k for a minute OF WORK, it's $15k for a minute of ANIMATION, which assuming it's 12 FPS is 720 drawings, each drawing being $20 which is fucking abysmally low.
i promise you, your work is not worth $15,000/min or $900,000/hr

like i dont think hes the ally of all time or something but i also dont think we need to single him out when a ton of white players are openly religious and probably homophobic but also i think queer fans are allowed to be disappointed about a player maybe being homophobic #Idk

ive been terrified speak publicly cause id say "i think that a lot of white hockey fans hold players of colour to unfairly raised standards and that we need nuance before blaming a filipino person for being christian" and they would go YES!! KILL ALL FAGGOTS JESUS IS KING #SHRINK
the hockeytwt experience of having an opinion about something but everyone who also holds that opinion is loud as fuck doing it for maga hitler reasons so you just gotta stay completely silent until it all dies down
