Remember if you are using Servlet, JSP, Tomcat, Grizzly, EclipseLink, Hibernate, Spring Boot you are using Jakarta EE. While the application servers is commonly what people refer to as EE, the individual EE specifications are part of that same umbrella. Enjoy your EE usage!

1. Jakarta EE provides a lot of things out of the box. No need to add depeneencies for DB access, REST, WebSockets, Security, etc. Your app is small and lean, just a small layer on top of a solid runtime.
