The #SJSharks need to take a long look in the mirror after today's game. It sounds like that's what will happen. This is MY OPINION. Criticism for tough play should be and is fair, but remember, these people are human—my thoughts on @SharksHKYDigest.⤵️ sharkshockeydigest.com/san-j…

Miller's Thoughts: Sharks October Ends With Scary Realization

The San Jose Sharks finish the first month of the NHL season with a 7-7-1 record and 15 points, the same total they had through 15 last season.

Last post on today's game, some positivity...out of the 4 lines listed today, one line did outchance the Sens while on the ice. The Marchment-Misa-Sherwood line! Misa has found some friends; just need to improve the shot count a little... stats per @MoneyPuckdotcom #TurnItAllTeal

JOHN COOPER TO SAN JOSE-

Look the 4th line isn't THE reason we lost this game, but you've gotta wonder the coach's mentality when a "defensive" line playing this poorly has this much TOI in a game where we trailed the whole way.

There's a lot of talk on the #SJSharks line combos right now, and that is understandable. But there is more to coaching than putting combos together. Systems are a huge part of success, and that's arguably the biggest difference between the Sharks and every other NHL team. IMO, that's what needs to change. I'll put a story out on this later tonight.

we simply sucked today. it happens. sens were better defensively and offensively. then warso starts remixing lines in the last period but to no avail. lets have this time to regroup.
