Nothing has ever completely removed the human element from creativity before. Photography still required a camera. 3D still required input.
AI hate is an ideology that makes zero sense. Tech companies side with it to appease the mobs. Technology always evolves: 3D, CGI, and green screens faced pushback. But AI carries this ideological charge. AI labs are partly to blame for their fearmongering. It will pass, though. Because haters either accept technological advances, or they will be left behind, unemployed and broke.

The scary thing about jail is that at least 10% of the people in here are innocent. Not subjectively innocent, or “could be” innocent.

Forced plea deals.
It's very easy to get caught up and wrecked by this system.

Because if you don’t, you are relying on a lawyer who often has other jobs and tasks and can’t focus on your case.
It's easy to lose against the ever powerful DOJ in this circumstance.
If you’re falsely accused of a crime you didn’t commit, looking at 10 years, and if you take a plea deal to get it off the officer's desk you only have to do a year… many innocent people admit guilt to get it over with. They can’t afford lawyers anyway.
There are hundreds of thousands of innocent people in these jails who have been brutally fucked by the system.
Innocent until proven guilty doesn’t exist. Look at me, I’ve been in and out of jail all around the world for 5 years and never even had a trial.

Unless you’ve interacted with the judicial system, you truly have no idea how bad it is, and how easy it is for a totally innocent person to have their life destroyed.
