🎶 2026 KMEA STATE SEMIFINALS: 62 BANDS SET TO COMPETE SATURDAY 🎶
Sixty-two bands will compete across five classes Saturday, Oct. 31, in the KMEA State Marching Band Championship semifinals.
The top six bands in each class will advance to Saturday’s state finals.
Classes 1A and 2A will compete at Campbellsville University on Eastern Daylight Time. The 1A semifinals begin at 9 a.m., followed by 2A at 2:45 p.m.
Class 3A will compete at Franklin-Simpson High School, Class 4A at Barren County High School and Class 5A at WKU Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. Those three semifinals are on Central Daylight Time.
The 3A semifinals begin at 9 a.m. CDT, 5A begins at 10 a.m. CDT and 4A begins at 11:15 a.m. CDT.
The eight regional champions entering the semifinals are Washington County and Hancock County in 1A; Estill County and Hart County in 2A; Beechwood and Adair County in 3A; and Anderson County and Murray in 4A.
Class 5A advances directly to the state semifinals without the East/West regional quarterfinal round used in Classes 1A through 4A.
The 1A and 2A state finals event begins at 8 p.m. EDT at Campbellsville University.
The 3A, 4A and 5A finals event begins at 4:30 p.m. CDT at WKU.

BREAKING: OMG. Trump tells a guy at his rally that he "looks like shit" and then brags that if the guy has a heart attack, the presidential doctors will just let him die.

"Every time I do a physical, I take a mental test and I've aced it. Where's my doctors? You're right. I travel with more doctors than any human being," Trump said at a rally in Arizona.
As has been explained ad nauseam by countless outlets, including this one, you can't "ace" one of these tests. They're administered to check for cognitive problems and the fact that Trump is constantly taking them is not normal.
"If people get sick in the audience, they don't— They leave them alone. You know what they call them? Collateral damage," Trump continued, fantasizing about his own supporters dying to their faces.
"If that person right over there, a friend of mine, he looks like shit, actually," Trump said, pointing to someone in the audience. "He looks like he's ready to have a heart attack. If he actually had a heart attack, you know what my doctors would do? They'd follow the president, all presidents— They would leave him alone. I'd say, please help him. No, sir, we can't leave your side. I said, but he's dying of a heart attack! Sir, he's collateral damage. Can you believe it? They got like six ambulances and they won't use one for anybody else. Anyway..."
There are two forces colliding here. The first is Trump's obvious dementia. The man displays less and less control over his own mouth every time he gets up to a microphone, a common symptom in people suffering cognitive decline. The second is that he despises his own supporters and fetishizes his own power. He loves the idea that he has doctors committed to his own health who would refuse to save a bystander, even to save their life. It makes him feel big.
That said, we have zero sympathy for the man that Trump publicly mocked. At this point, if you still support this rotting pedophile, you're just begging to get humiliated.
