De La Salle offers an additional, unique opportunity to its members to learn a musical instrument and tuition is free! instruments are provided on loan at no cost and when the young person is ready to play with the band, a uniform is also given on loan at no cost.
The band returns to its weekly practices this coming week in Stephen Street.

Last weekend saw the Group Weekend take place in our Faithlegg Scout Centre where over seventy youth and adult members attended.
Lots of bases were organised, but the award for nosiest base goes to the band.
A huge thanks to all who attended and donated to the Comeragh Crossing 2025
A special shout out to @DungarvanScouts who joined us on the 26km traverse

Our Chief Scout Beavers completed their community part of their badge work today by manning a water station and clean up for the @WVMarathon plus loads of help from others leaders out supporting their kids🏃🏃♀️
Yesterday, some members of the scout section completed the packing of 4000 goodie bags for the participants of this weekends @WVMarathon
