For areas along/north of a line from Donaldsonville to Lake Maurepas, Freeze Warnings are issued for the first two freezes. For areas south of this line, Freeze Warnings are issued for every freeze. Cold Weather Advisories: temperatures or wind chills could be a threat to life or property if caution is not exercised. For areas north of the I-10/12 corridor: issued for air temperatures or wind chills less than 20. For areas along and south of the I-10/12 corridor: issued for air temperatures or wind chills less than 25. Extreme Cold Watch/Warning: temperatures or wind chills pose an imminent threat to life or property & require immediate protective action.
