I’m passionate about spreading OCD awareness, as I’ve been dealing with it my whole life. I knew it was largely misunderstood, but the discourse I’ve seen these past few days is disgusting. OCD ruins lives. It TAKES lives. Please educate yourselves before talking about this stuff

ocd awareness hitting the internet is the worst thing to happen to the ocd community so far. ocd literally feeds off things you’re passionate about and turns them against you. same people who say “im so ocd about my space” being the most ableist 🍏

I can see how OCD might make you hesitant about some things like unknowingly saying something stereotypical or not being conscious of saying something that someone may find offensive but no OCD makes you afraid of saying the N word if it’s not in your vocabulary. Makes no sense
