Google just dropped 4 upgrades to NotebookLM that most people are completely missing.
Here's what changed and why it matters:
Upgrade 1 → Prompt-based slide revisions
Click the pencil icon on any slide. Edit just that slide.
No more regenerating the entire deck because one slide was off.
Batch all your changes first. Then generate once.
Upgrade 2 → PPTX export
Download a real editable PowerPoint file.
Build the content in NotebookLM. Polish the design in PowerPoint.
