Apologies for the lack of check ins. We’ve been so busy at the lab. After we make this deadline we should be able to relax.

The individual I commissioned the collars from is an old acquaintance from my club days. Unfortunately, he had some personal issues come up and had to take a pause but the good news is he has been able to restart work. However, please do not tell Jayce. I want to surprise him.

I left the lab for a supplies run and came back to Jayce on his desk. Not like head and arms resting on the desk but fully on top of it and horizontal. I need to find him a blanket.

With the way these experiments are going I believe we will have a very busy week and a lot of late nights coming our way.

How are you feeling, my Jayce? You haven’t been your usual self these past few days.

He is okay. I am making us food we can eat in bed for when he wakes up.

I’ll admit, my hair does feel softer.

I really do appreciate the concern but I do not think it’s burn out from work. I try not to mention it too much around Jayce but I am sick, I am dying. My body is slowly losing it’s ability to handle what it used to.
