Hey all - I'm out. Twitter as a corporate entity has made it clear I'm not welcome on their platform, so I'm going to go.

Hello! In an effort to get off the prominent far right billionaire website forever, I made an account on Bluesky, where I can be followed and who knows, perhaps engaged with queenregnant.bsky.social

Not sure what I'll do next, I haven't really loved any other platform much. Mastodon is overwhelming and I don't want to rebuild my entire network from scratch. But anyway for now if you want to stay in touch and we're not connected otherwise, follow me at tech.lgbt/@queenregnant

I heard that the new edition of The One Ring (non-d20 LotR ttrpg)by @freeleague had a solo play supplement so I downloaded it and tried it out and now I have a 23 page document about the adventures of a silver-tongued lesbian from Dale

The fact that there's a huge (apparent) uproar about Black Aragorn on the new Magic cards and nothing about the female Rohirrim, Dunedain, and Gondorian warriors is a sign that it's an op being planned and coordinated on some chan somewhere

I don't say this to discount the real racism in the community, just something I've been thinking about as someone who views Magic through a female and queer lens most of the time - where's the blowback on the stuff that speaks to me in the new set?

The answer is "wherever the planning is taking place, they're reminding each other not to go off message"

Me realizing XO, Kitty will end on a cliffhanger because it can't possibly wrap everything up in one episode

Also Dae would never do that thing he does in the beginning of the last episode, it's utterly contrary to his character

People are asking "who's the next big bad in Magic" but the next several sets won't be structured that way, they'll all be about Huatli and Saheeli's epic journeys across the multiverse to reunite

Here's my pitch, the next year of sets don't feature Huatli or Saheeli but all have one (1) flavor text from one or the other making it clear they were passing through. Then one of them appears in a set. Then a set with no mention of either. Then feature the other.

Transcribing an interview and the most challenging part is taking my questions from absurdly circuitous rambles to cogent statements

Wrote this on discord but it deserves to be free (cw: explicit)
Screenshot of discord message, written out in dialogue format. Tifa: No, Aerith, I could never stand in the way of your happiness. Aerith: Tifa, you deserve this. You've been there with him through anything. Tifa: Please, Aerith, don't make this harder! Cloud: Do I get a say in this Aerith: Tifa, please, you know he loves you in a way I could never even imagine Tifa: Don't say that! His feelings for you are newer but they're real! Cloud: No apparently Aerith: I wish we could just date Cloud: Wait Tifa: I know, it would solve everything! I mean, I love you so much, and you're so beautiful Cloud: We took a turn here... Aerith: You're the most amazing person I ever met, and god those fucking abs... Cloud: What is happening Tifa: Unfortunately I just can't do without that hard dick Aerith: Girl, same Cloud: buries head in his hands I think this is my finest creation of all time 🤔
