Finally, Karts.com is live! 🏎️ I still can’t quite believe I built a 3D kart racing game. Come give it a try! 😄 I created the characters with Nano Banana and ChatGPT, turned them into 3D models with Tripo3D, built the tracks with Claude Opus 5.5 and Blender, and brought it all together in Three.js. Thirteen of the 20 cities are places I’ve visited. I poured my memories of them into the tracks, and I hope you’ll enjoy the scenery as much as the racing. #GameDev #ThreeJS

One of dotDB’s most underrated features is Keyword Insights. 🔍 It gives you a detailed breakdown of monthly search volume by country, revealing where people are actually searching for a particular keyword. Take “Southeast Asia” as an example. Google Trends offers a similar geographic breakdown, but there’s an important difference: its rankings are based on relative search interest, not absolute search volume. Google Trends ranks Brunei #1 for “Southeast Asia”. Does that mean Brunei generates the most searches for this term? Not at all. With a population of just around 470,000, Brunei ranks first because searches for “Southeast Asia” account for a relatively high proportion of its total searches. Now look at the same keyword through dotDB Keyword Insights: 🌎 Worldwide: 301,000 monthly searches 🇺🇸 United States: 74,000 🇵🇭 Philippines: 49,500 🇮🇳 India: 22,200 🇬🇧 United Kingdom: 18,100 🇦🇺 Australia: 14,800 Suddenly, you get a very different picture of where the actual search demand comes from. Google Trends is useful for understanding relative interest, but when you're deciding which markets to target, where to build your next website, or which domains might have commercial potential, actual search volume tells a different story. Sometimes, the most valuable insights are hiding in features you haven't explored yet. 👀 👉 dotdb.com/insights

Take the @DNAcademy course, study sales reports on NameBio and @DNJournal, listen to as many @DomainSherpa podcasts as you can. Get educated. Then pick up better domains that actually have potential buyers. Google, @dotdbcom, and OpenCorporates are good places to check for a pulse. For buying, check the expired auctions, GoDaddy closeouts, subscribe to the @DomainSmoke newsletter. Probably don't hand-register any more names. Once you have some sellable inventory, list them on @Afternic, @Sedo, @atomHQ, etc. with BIN prices and wait. You can also reach out to potential buyers to speed up the process. What you have now is something that isn't a good fit for the extension but could be somewhat decent in .com, a misspelled tongue-twister that doesn't even mean anything, another one that makes very little sense and zero companies have that name, and UDRP bait. The odds of any selling are essentially zero. Good luck!

Revealing the secrets to finding great domains! 💡 (Niche market: general domain + .io or .co domain) This method is versatile and becomes even more effective with 2-3 cross verifications. 🔄📈 • When registering a new .com (.com) • When registering a new domain (.io, .co...) • When registering a drop domain • When purchasing someone else’s domain, • When assessing domain value. • When setting the selling price Order of finding a good domain (c.g ProMix•io) Actually, I will walk you through the process of registering ProMix•io. (Hand-registered in June 2022) Through cross-validation, you can predict the number of potential buyers. 🅰️ Finding and evaluating domains in dotDB (1st evaluation) 1⃣ Search for Beginning 'Pro" in dotDB and sort it. 2⃣ Find a domain with an empty .io in the domain list. 3⃣ Discover target ProMix (78 Extensions, 379 Promix+, io available) 4⃣ Double check Whois registration (registration possible) 5⃣ Check the Site Status option in dotDB as “Active” and search again (62 extension) 6⃣ Visit 62 extension sites in dotDB 7⃣ Check 5 or more Promix+ operating sites in dotDB (c.g PromixConcrete...) If it passes, it moves on to the second evaluation for cross-validation. 🅱️ Evaluation through Google search (second evaluation) 1⃣ Search “ProMix” on Google web search. (2,400,000 results, various sites found) (Note: Add " " when searching on Google) 2⃣ Search for “ProMix” logo in Google Image Search (see image) 3⃣ The more diverse logos the better (excluding product and person names) 4⃣ If most logos are the same, there is a possibility of trademark dispute (excluding registration) 🆙Evaluation results (registration decision) Promix is a fairly good brand with 78 Extensions and 379 Promix+ in dotDB. If you actually visit related domains, you will find many sites that are actually in operation. In Google search results, the 'Promix' page was searched for as many as 2,400,000 pages. There are many different logos (companies) in Google image search results. In addition, the fact that there are not many identical logos and that they are used in various ways is considered to be somewhat safe in trademark disputes. (In other words, 'Promix' means that there is no multinational company like Apple with a trademark) Looking at dotDB and Google searches, there are many companies that use 'Promix'. There is a possibility of receiving offers from these companies. (If it is a .com, the chances of receiving offers from these companies are quite high) It is expected that more companies will choose 'Promix' as their new company or product brand. In particular, if the newly opened company is a blockchain-related company, it can be sold at a higher price. With only two-step cross-validation, the domain has a large number of potential buyers and is highly likely to be sold. Therefore, I decided to register this domain. 🔂Verification This domain has been registered for 15 months and has received several offers. 💮When registering a domain, did you go through this complicated process? Did you put in a lot of time, various tools, and effort to register your domain? It's not that there aren't good domains. This is because I don’t have the know-how to find a good domain. Also, it's because you didn't make an effort. 🎯 If you pioneer your own way in this way, it will become your own niche. From then on, multi-registration is possible.
