Research/Survey vessel NEIL ARMSTRONG 🇺🇸 after sunrise this morning at Wilson Hill on the St. Lawrence River, on its first-ever transit to the Great Lakes. The vessel is bound for Duluth to lay fiberoptic cable on the lakebed of Lake Superior and Lake Vermilion for the Experimental Neutrino Detector (END) project.

This morning around 11:15 am the USS Enterprise CVN-65 the first of nuclear powered aircraft carriers left her berth at Pier 2 Newport News Shipyard under tow to Mobile Alabama for dismantling. As I posted earlier this has a connection to my family of my dad at Nuclear Engineer for fueling/refueling and brother for defueling /decommisioning on the same boat. I presume the deck that shows a rust color is where they removed the flight deck for removal or reactors/decom.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING: A US fighter jet struck the stern of the M/V Ocean Molica after it left an Iranian port, knocking out its engines
A ship sailing out of Iran, the US blockade line, and a fighter jet putting a strike right into its stern...
CENTCOM says the Ocean Molica tried to slip past the blockade, and the hit disabled its propulsion system, stopping it cold.
It's the fourth vessel disabled this way, and it lands while Iran's Revolutionary Guards brag about hitting tankers every night on routes Tehran calls "illegal."
