Rebecca Black wants absurd pop music back, like Fergie and Gwen Stefani championed back in the day. I agree

I would dare to say that the entire 2000s Punk Rock/Ska genre would have never existed without Tragic Kingdom. It was mislabled as a Pop Album ๐Ÿ’ฟ because Radio fell in love with Gwen Stefani, but No Doubtโ€™s contribution to music was real and long lasting.

Capital punishment is unacceptable in any case. The planned broadcast of the taking of a life by firing squad is nothing short of performative barbarism. Do we really want our children, who will inevitably view it, exposed to the pornography of a state-sponsored slaying?

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty
