5k an outing is "cheap" for 2.8k USD Nominal GDP per capita country.

I have repeatedly said India being a "cheap country" is a myth. It's cheap if your idea of socializing is to eat 60 rupee chicken momo which probably has rat meat or bread pakoda with analogue paneer by the street.
Every single visit home, the avg. cost of an outing is 5K INR.

More than 70% of Punjab’s paddy has already been harvested. I’ve personally harvested my crop and chosen not to burn the stubble.
That decision alone is costing me around ₹3,500–4,000 per acre close to ₹4 lakh out of my own pocket just for cleaner air and a better environment.
No government support. No meaningful incentives. Yet, year after year, Punjab’s farmers are blamed for Delhi’s pollution and accused of not paying taxes.
A simple question: would you be willing to spend ₹4 lakh from your own pocket purely for the environment?
Before blaming every farmer in Punjab, understand the cost many of them are willingly bearing.
Salute to every such farmer. 🌾🇮🇳

More likely u will have to take care of their expenses coz of no jobs
Second Advice: Confront ON THE SPOT
This is very important especially in India, if don't confront someone then and there it would only fill you with fear and resentment and also you will feel small in your own mind.
Let's suppose someone put you down in front of a few people at some gathering, no matter who that person is. Give him/her a reply on the spot; it would not only build a strong boundary for you in social settings, but it would also tell your subconscious that you respect yourself.
First Advice: Be LOUD
You will often find people on SM giving shit advice about being Silent or "Don't speak," but that's not how things work in India or anywhere else in the world. If you're silent, don't put up your thoughts; you can't argue, and you'll get steamrolled
I am repeating it again if your beard density is not good be clean shaved or if it is good then have it trimmed or have stubble.
I saw a video by an Indian from Czech Republic. He is in a crowded bus & seat next to him is empty. Still, no one is sitting next to him.
Someone in comments said “they don’t care what body part of Brahma you came from. You are all same for them.”
Many people commented that he should lose his beard & focus on grooming as brown people with beards appear unhygienic in Eastern Europe.
I believe most NRIs who start singing about “greatness of India” after going outside face such things & get a shock about their presence.
Time and Environment are everything.
This was common and still is in certain communities in India; if this guy were born a few years later, he would have been questioning hypergamy or posting Incel posts on SM.
Some of the people on this App just wanna abuse you for no reason because they are so frustrated in their own lives. This is the major reason why I keep this account private.
A real black spot is a FIR or a court case, especially when it's still under trial, or you're found guilty.
I have one black mark on my career... I switched one company within 10 months.
It might give me a negative tag as frequent hopper & gives negative impression in interviews....
So... from now onwards, if any interviewer or HR asks me the reason.... I will tell I lost my job in AI based restructuring layoffs😅😅

Private universities do exist.
I've met Australians & Nordics who live like Sultans in SEA & FEA for months, based on what they earn as bartenders & delivery workers in their homelands for 3-4 months a year.
