Knicks will carry 10 + the two-ways by the end of camp. It's essentially a 5-person battle for 2 spots.
Thrilled to be in @TheGarden today for @StJohnsBBall final exhibition game.
The Red Storm defeated Texas to complete a perfect preseason.
Great to be on the call with @tykeracarter for the @LinacreMedia production.

Knicks make the signing of Knecht official, joining Jaden Akins and Tyler Nickel on two-way contracts.
Mike Brown addressed the addition of Dalton Knecht before tonight's game against Orlando.

Brown also seemed to indicate that they Dalton Knecht to play as much as possible so the plan initially is to play games in Westchester.

Former @IonaGaelsMBB Quinn Slazinksi was picked in the second round.
Draft picks outside of the top 5/10, typically have an outside shot to make the final roster.
Westchester holds on to both first round picks and makes a couple of selections.
These two plus three local tryout players will compete for the final two G League roster spots.
Westchester, in theory, has two open roster spots that can potentially be filled by draft picks.
Camp opens on Monday.
What a display of explosive plays for @ionafootball in its win over Chaminade.
The Gaels scored on their first play from scrimmage in both the first and third quarters.
Iona Prep remains undefeated heading into its regular season finale against The Team Up North.
The former New York Knick (2019-2021) played 29 games with Austin last year in the G League.
Acquiring a someone's returning rights, does not mean the player will join the active roster.
Massive start to the season for Jerome after being limited to just 15 games last season because of injury.
Jerome embarks on year eight (!) in the NBA.
Iona Prep Alum Ty Jerome! Great start to the NBA season!!!CHSAA

Add the 6th man from last year's championship squad to the D1 list.
That makes the updated D1 totals from the 4-pete:
▪︎ 2026 - 6
▪︎ 2025 - 7
▪︎ 2024 - 10 (+1 D1 walk-on)
▪︎ 2023 - 7 (+1 D1 walk-on)

Congratulations to Josh and his family on his commitment to USC of the Big Ten! Another member of the program who will go on to play at the college level! A three year member of the Varsity Basketball team and program and a three time CHSAA “AA” City and State Champion who has excelled both in the classroom, on and off the court and has stayed the course! Congratulations!

It appears The Metro will maintain its membership at 13 schools.
So far under the new regime the league has gone from 11 ➡️ 13 ➡️ 12* ➡️ 13.
The last eight (including LeMoyne) additions to The Metro have jumped from the NEC.
*Replacing Fairfield during its transition year.
The former @IonaGaelsMBB guard is a free agent for the first time in his career.
Will he lay low to start the season and wait for his next NBA opportunity? Or perhaps enter his name in Saturday's G League Draft? Head overseas?
Didn't take long to find a landing spot.
Clayton is back in the NBA with a two-way deal. Always an interesting balance between remaining a free agent to find a standard deal or cashing in on the best offer.
