College Football: Late first round? The market is STILL behind on Maiava.
I've been saying it for weeks: he's my QB3 in this class, behind only Mensah and Mestemaker.
19 TDs, 5 INTs, 8.4 yards per attempt, 6-2 against one of the toughest schedules in the country. That's not a late first. That's a guy teams will regret passing on.
Saturday vs. Ohio State, everyone's going to see it.

I love me some Kirko Chainz!
TIME TO START FERNANDO 🏴☠️🏈
I love me some Kirko Chainz! 😎
Respect the hell out of what he’s done the first half of the season, but sorry, it’s time to make a change! Raiders can still make the playoffs, but they’ve got to start winning NOW. ⏳
I know, Cousins is lighting it up, leading the league in TD passes. 🔥 The problem is the run game is nonexistent. The OL can’t create running lanes, and the WR corps doesn’t force defenses to respect the threat outside.
Defenses stack the box, dare the Raiders to win one-on-one, and live with the results.
That’s why it’s time to start Fernando Mendoza. 👀
The No. 1 overall pick brings something Kirk doesn’t — mobility. Bootlegs, zone reads, RPOs, and the ability to get outside when the pocket collapses force defenses to account for the QB as a runner.
That changes the math. 📈 It can open running lanes for Jeanty and company, create opportunities in the passing game, and give this offense another dimension.
It could help the defense, too. Longer drives, fewer three-and-outs, more time to rest. This defense has been getting gashed. Keeping them off the field longer can only help. 💪
Now, I get the counterargument. Mendoza might not be ready.
Putting a rookie behind a shaky OL can lead to sacks, turnovers, and confidence issues. He may not have the entire playbook down, and a rough start could set him back. I get it. There’s a case for patience.
But you don’t find out if the kid is ready by waiting for perfect conditions. You find out by putting him on the field while the season still matters. 🎯
Great QBs can make everyone around them better. They elevate the offense, force defenses to prepare differently, and open up possibilities that weren’t there before.
And if I’m the GM who spent the No. 1 overall pick on Mendoza, I believe he’s the guy. Otherwise, why did I use that pick on him?
You don’t spend that kind of draft capital and then refuse to play him. Trust your evaluation. If you got it wrong, own it. But don’t spend the first pick on your franchise QB and then be afraid to find out what you have.
Kubiak is sticking with Kirk this week and says there’s no quarterback controversy. Fine. I can live with one more game.
But new head coaches always think they have time. They don’t. Fans get impatient, owners get impatient, and every loss shrinks the runway. ⏰
So it’s time.
Start the rookie. Fire up the run game. Stretch the field. Keep the defense fresh.
WIN! 🏴☠️🔥

IDP DEFENSIVE BACKS ALERT 👀🏈
Let’s talk IDP DBs. I’m super high on all of these players.
Some are readily available on waivers, while others you’ll have to pry away from your opponents.
Bottom line, these guys can play and make a difference in your lineup every week.
BIG-PLAY BOOM 💥
• Kyler Gordon (Bears CB) — Four sacks and two forced fumbles in just two games back from injury. The production has been ridiculous. If his snap share rises, the upside is enormous. Averaging 24~ FP per game through two games.
• Brian Branch (Lions S) — Four tackles and an interception in his first game back from an Achilles injury, playing around 45 snaps. Proven playmaker with plenty of upside as his workload increases. Scored 11~ FP in his return.
BALANCED PLAYMAKERS 🎯
• C.J. Henderson (Falcons CB) — 31 tackles, eight passes defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in six games. Producing across the board with a steady starting role after AJ Terrell went out. Averaging 10~ per game.
• Kamari Lassiter (Texans CB) — 44 tackles, 31 solo, a sack and five passes defended through seven games. Full-time starter with a strong tackle floor at cornerback. Averaging 8~ per game.
• Rasul Douglas (Commanders CB) — 26 tackles, an interception and five passes defended in six games. Veteran ballhawk whose increasing snap count makes him worth adding. Averaging 8~ FP per game.
STEADY TACKLE PRODUCTION 📈
• Dane Belton (Jets S) — 55–56 tackles through seven games, with seven-plus in each of his last five. On pace for 130-plus tackles, giving you the kind of weekly floor I want in my IDP lineup. Averaging 6.5~ per game.
• Riq Woolen (Eagles CB) — 27 tackles, six passes defended and a forced fumble through seven games. Full-time outside corner with the ability to make plays on the ball. Averaging 6.5~ FP per game.
Different profiles. Different acquisition costs. All capable of making an impact on your roster.

VALUE ALERT — JAKOBI MEYERS | JACKSONVILLE #Jaguars
I’m buying the rising WR2 before the market catches up.
Trigger: Meyers comes off the bye to face a struggling Colts team. Meanwhile, Brian Thomas Jr.’s reduced role has fueled trade speculation, with the Chiefs and Steelers among the teams linked to receiver help.
What I see: Meyers is moving in the right direction. He just posted 5 catches, 83 yards and a season-high 10 targets against Houston.
BTJ’s role is shrinking. Meyers is becoming one of Trevor Lawrence’s more dependable receiving options.
Cost: I’m buying at FLEX prices, not paying established WR2 value.
Fantasy: Indianapolis plays man coverage at one of the league’s highest rates. Meyers has been productive against man this season. I see legitimate WR2 upside in PPR this week, with more opportunity if BTJ’s role keeps declining.
Verdict: I’m adding and starting Jakobi Meyers against Indianapolis. The matchup is attractive, the volume is trending up, and the market may still be pricing yesterday’s Jacksonville receiving hierarchy.

🏈 Week 8 Dynasty QB Top 40 is here!
The QB landscape is shifting, and some big names are losing ground.
🔥 I'm officially jumping on the Caleb Williams bandwagon! I've seen enough to move him up 4 spots to QB2. The upside is too good to ignore!
📈 Brock Purdy climbs to QB5, Jordan Love moves up to QB8, and C.J. Stroud continues his rise to QB11.
📉 Patrick Mahomes falls 3 spots to QB7, while Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow each slide a spot.
👀 Malik Willis climbs to QB27, and J.J. McCarthy moves up to QB32 as their dynasty outlooks improve.
Am I too high on Caleb, or is QB2 exactly where he belongs?

A few weeks from now, you'll wish you traded for these guys TODAY...
My week 8 TRADE TARGETS (and who I'd trade for them):
1. Ollie Gordon
VALUE ALERT — MATT HIBNER | BALTIMORE #Ravens
The rookie is earning playing time. Dynasty managers shouldn’t wait for the breakout.
Trigger: Hibner returned from injury and played 39% of Baltimore’s offensive snaps in Week 7. Mark Andrews played 57%.
What I see: This isn’t a rookie buried on the depth chart. Hibner has already reached 57% snap participation in a game, and Baltimore is giving him a legitimate rotational role.
The catch? He ran just eight routes with zero targets last week. The playing time is ahead of the receiving production.
Cost: I’m targeting him as a low-cost Dynasty stash, not paying for an established fantasy starter.
Fantasy: His role is developing, but he’s not a reliable Redraft starter yet. In Dynasty, I see an early opportunity to secure a young tight end before his receiving usage potentially grows.
Verdict: I’m stashing Hibner in Dynasty now. In Redraft, I’m watching his routes and targets. The next step isn’t more snaps. It’s becoming part of the passing game.

Vikings–Colts trade: What if ?
IND gets: Mason, a 4th, and one (1) motivational poster.
MIN gets: Jonathan Taylor " the colts offence"
Your fantasy league sinking? These guys are saving mine.
I've been using them on bye weeks and at flex, and they've delivered. Stash them before someone else does:
QB
- Malik Willis (Dolphins): scores with his legs. Perfect bye-week fill-in
RB
- Ollie Gordon II (Dolphins): owns the backfield since Achane went down
- Blake Corum (Rams): the most valuable backup in the league. If Kyren goes down, he's an RB1
WR
- Omar Cooper Jr. (Jets): 218 yards and 2 TDs over the last two weeks
- KC Concepcion (Browns): 23% target share and 129 yards last week
- Ted Hurst III (Buccaneers): 6'4" rookie stepping into Mike Evans' old role
- Devaughn Vele (Saints): starting while Tyson is out. Use him now
TE
- Michael Mayer (Raiders) or Mason Taylor (Jets): Taylor put up 25.2 points last week and starts ahead of Sadiq
Which of these do you already have?

🚨 JONAH COLEMAN TAKEOVER INCOMING 🚨
First week back, and Jonah Coleman ALREADY led the backfield in snaps.
That tells me everything I need to know about where this is heading.
The physicality, contact balance, and ability to create yards after contact are there.
Now it's about turning that playing time into a featured workload.
I'm buying BEFORE the takeover is complete.
Is Coleman about to claim this backfield for good?

DYLAN SAMPSON: DEEP FLEX / STASH OPTION
DYLAN SAMPSON: DEEP FLEX / STASH OPTION 👀🏈
Dylan Sampson is healthy and back on the field for Cleveland after missing the previous five games with a knee injury. He was activated and saw his first meaningful action of 2026 last week. 💪
Against Tennessee, he posted 6 carries for 45 yards and went 3/3 for 32 receiving yards — 77 total yards and 10.7 PPR points. Not bad for his first game back, especially if you’re looking for a deep flex or stash option.
I can see more of the same this week against Pittsburgh. These teams already met in Week 4, with Cleveland winning 27-24, so they know each other well.
The Steelers defense is solid overall — tough against the run, capable of generating pressure, and sound in the secondary. But they’ve still been giving opposing RBs opportunities in the passing game, allowing around 7 targets and 5+ receptions per game to the position.
Think HC Monken will want to play Browns football: run the ball and get it to the young playmakers. With Watson potentially forced to check it down on third downs and under pressure, Sampson could benefit. He operated as the clear passing-down complement last week, earning a meaningful route share and drawing 3 targets.
I can realistically see 5 carries and 5-6 targets, with a modest floor around 5-6 PPR points and a ceiling in the 9-11 range if the checkdowns connect.
He’s not a locked-in starter, but he’s readily available and has a clear path to usable full-PPR volume in the future.
Nice stash. PICK HIM UP. 👀🏈
