Adulting is very difficult…. Been an emotional roller coaster lately and the fact that you fall back to your grind even while grieving is scary… From falling out with a long-time friend who refused to see how badly I was treated to losing my relationship of 5 years, to a major layoff and wallet hack to rebuilding over again and questioning myself: I’m really making headway And in all of this., while a few close friends advise me to take time off socials., I ask, if I leave, who will sort these bills, take care of the people I do, and all… I still fall back to this grind and I just wonder how many of us really fall back to our grind despite facing cra*y emotional issues You cry before working You cry after, before content, and just so much unhappiness… And when you check the internet everyone is saying MOVE ON FAST! Like I should act like 5 years never existed, or a decade of friendship never existed, or my hard-earned money never existed, or a major betrayal from family, or which Bikonu are we moving on fast from! Ought to host another space today but ngl so much pain since this week and I just really try to keep showing up but at this point I no fit again! Trying not to take time off socials but I think I need to really grieve and give myself time to heal… and I might still summon the courage to show up regardless nevertheless. We will be fine and I hope you are fine really because trust me, the same way you assume I’m good is the same way others assume you're good while you're going through a lot!
