Compulsive Collector – Conspiracy Theorist – Web3 Idealist - Trying to live forever! Founder @collectdigi.

Joined October 2021
Every project has a Discord, a website, and some even have collector hubs. But how do collectors actually find these projects? Right now, digital collectibles occupy some mindshare on Crypto Twitter, but ultimately founders and die-hard collectors are posting into the abyss X calls an algorithm. Where can founders tell their story to collectors? Where does the history live? @collectdigi has the infrastructure in place to provide that home. If founders and CMs took over their pages and told their story through a Digital Lore Line, their communities could follow and add to that history, sharing their own stories of collecting, why they joined, and why they love the project. Then the cross-pollination begins. Collectors are going to collect. The goal is to help them discover what to collect next.
The Lore line is where a project’s story lives. Projects can add the events, milestones, and moments that shaped their community, then collectors can comment, share memories, and revisit those moments together. Launches. Partnerships. Meetups. Big wins. Hard lessons. Community milestones. The things that usually disappear into old X posts and buried Discord channels can become part of a permanent timeline. A project is more than what it is today. Its history matters too.

As a kid, I collected sports cards. I was a fanatic. I went to conventions and searched for the rarest shit I could find. Uncut sheets were my poison. As a teenager and young adult, I traveled around with jam bands selling T-shirts I drew, The tailgate culture was a community with its own ecosystem. ApeFest felt like those two worlds collided. Part baseball card convention. Part concert tailgate. Everyone around me was some version of the same compulsive collector I’ve always been and they were into the same art. I found my people. Space on Saturday at 9:30 AM with @nyccarp608 to break it all down. TLDR IRL IS THE APLHA !
HMM Apefest was something else…. event after event meeting ape after ape Beeple’s, Apeballz, Deez Nutz winning @GoApeGames, Offset, Waka Flaka, Bored’N’Hungry….. 👇link for recap space👇

I am praying to the monkey kettlebell gods. Car accidents as a kid compromised my spine but I’m still fighting to avoid surgery. Made it through ApeFest on adrenaline and now I’m limping like a pimp. Kettlebells hit the core. When you have disc issues the core becomes more important to keep the spine in line.

Remind yourself that even the littlest steps will carry you to the finish line. No task is too small when it comes to reaching for your dreams. Today’s s/o was a no brainer. These gentlemen pour their hearts into everything they create; 1/1 skate decks, custom art work, merchandise for other communities who many of you admire so much, IRL activations, create merch on chain and run IRL businesses. If you don’t have a @badbadwtf you’re definitely living under a rock.

I grabbed this @LilMutants right after meeting @0xYaper at ApeFest. I can tell after talking to him that he is a true leader that will never give up. One of my first purchases years ago was a Lil Ape but this is my first Lil Mutant. It will not be my only! Collectors collect.
Did you find some @LilMutants stickers at the fest? Don’t forget to share with the kiddos 🙌🏼

so blessed to have had the opportunity to jam with Figge on apefest. I have been working with him since 2010, long before web3 and everytime I learn a shitload. He was a huge part of getting beeple studios off the ground from a technical standpoint so to be able to work with him again here really meant a lot. ask anyone… fade this mf at your own peril. 🐐

Why give Ape’s money to PSA and eBay? The major question about the tokenization of our @BoredApeYC Mudwater cards is how grading should will handled. Currently, we are seeing boxes and packs selling on eBay. Once these are in the hands of people who understand the technology, they will become tokenized. Physical is fun, and I’ll hold onto commons to look at, but any major pulls from physical packs are being sent into the vault. Why? Because you get paid!!! Imagine, instead of your cards collecting dust, they are in a vault and earning you money!! This is ownership. This is the Web3 I was promised! With that said, grading must be brought in-house. Why would I pay PSA or any other grading company? I trust BAYC to put a grading team in place to have the cards that are sent in graded, slabbed, and locked in the vault. Once a card is graded, that grade needs to be locked into its metadata. This will create the market and drive tokenized sales. If there is only one 10, that will sell big. Let’s get those royalties!
still see some misunderstandings about the digital <> physical nature of mudwater. every digital pack is backed by a physical pack. every digital case is backed by a physical case. every rip is paired to a sequential physical rip, handled by professionals in a secure room within a warehouse. Filmed, hashed, published onchain, and metadata is applied to your card at rip time. the fee for ripping is largely in place to cover the cost of the above labor. There's also Solana rent and metaplex fees x10 (once for each card) that's all paid by our relayer.

So excited to take my chairs ! Especially after meeting @Kingpickle at ApeFest. When I minted Dengs on Ape Chain years ago I heard he was a legend. I heard he was a real builder. Now I know the stories are true. This is one of the most interesting projects we have in Web3 TO DATE!. Maybe we will see the history on his @collectdigi lore line one day. It is a history that should be told and shared with the greater community.
The reason I stretched out the TMF pass application approvals was to see what the applicants did in the weeks after submitting. Did they keep posting about TMF? Do they post about any collections they already hold? Did they post at all? Some great data.
