1. Let producers ship directly to retailers. 2. Let retailers sell online/deliver to residents. 3. Let producers establish a retail location on site, and also sell online through that location, to residents. 4. See a thriving, diverse cannabis economy in your province.

I'm clearly not arguing the US and Israel do not talk to each other, nor is that a relevant rebuttal to the points I raised. Plus, even if implemented this would have essentially no impact on our GDP. This is basic run of the mill trade disputes.

This goes back years and was an the behest of Israel's domestic industry which finds it hard to compete with Canadian companies. Nothing to do with the US.

I've been seeing these articles in the usually right-wing rags for years now, but seeing CBC allow this ridiculous narrative without any hard questions is pathetic. This isn't news, it's lazy propaganda @NahlahAyed

Hey Belgium. Maybe it's your broken prohibition policy that is not working, not Canada's legal system.

Let's be clear. This is an example of legalization in Canada WORKING. The black market is forced overseas where countries still don't have legal supply to fill existing consumer demand.
This is such a silly, farcical narrative. Taking advantage of legalization to.... do all the things legalization doesn't allow. Got it. cbc.ca/news/investigates/can…

The weed backlash is real and if people aren't paying attention, it's going to lead to rollbacks of these liberties. Nothing is set in stone.

#CBSA officers at the #Windsor-Detroit Tunnel seized over 13 kg of cannabis & 49 THC vapes from a U.S. resident, who was fined $56,100. Cannabis is legal in Canada, but crossing the border with it is not. cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyag…

Changing the legislation was never the true goal. Or the methods would have been entirely different.

RE: The "lobbying" is all just preformative for investors as a backstop against losses, not about any actual legislative change. Which is why it's not resulted in said legislative changes in 8 years and counting. Don't shoot the messenger.

Well, there's the problem right there. 😃 You should try touching the grass, as the kids say.
