One thing we learned during the SERV private beta was a lot of enterprises prefer adopting new tech through gateways they already trust, like Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Marketplace. So for the past 3 months we’ve been going through the lengthy setup & verification process to integrate with our first one, going live next month. With it, institutions can directly access SERV Reasoning via trusted infra they already use. No new accounts, no extra onboarding; frictionless adoption of SERV. Onwards 🫡
The next phase of SERV’s enterprise expansion is already in motion. From conversations with our customers and enterprises, we’ve learned that large organizations increasingly rely on established distribution channels to access and procure technology. We’ve started expanding SERV Reasoning into these channels, removing the friction for institutions to onboard and adopt SERV Reasoning into their stack. The first distribution gateway for SERV goes live in October.

While I deeply respect the cryptographic research that @nemothenoone and the @allocinitxyz team are pursuing to enable covenants on Bitcoin without a soft fork, it’s worth emphasizing that the cryptography underlying this approach is still highly experimental, and its security assumptions are far from established. It will likely take years of research and scrutiny before there is enough confidence in these constructions for use in Bitcoin applications — and realistically, that confidence may never materialize. I love the boldness of their vision and I’m impressed by the progress so far. At the same time, I think it’s important that the community has a clear understanding of where the research currently stands and how uncertain its practical viability remains from a cryptographic perspective.

Everyone should be able to access high-quality financial assets, wherever they live. That's what tokenization unlocks: taking the best of US capital markets and making them available on a global scale. The industry is still small compared with global finance, but the advantages are becoming harder to ignore. Traditional market infrastructure was built around fixed hours, closed networks and layers of intermediaries. It was never designed for 24/7 execution, programmable assets, composability or self-custody. The needs of investors have moved faster than the rails underneath them. We're working to change that. What gives me confidence is seeing how many different people are now pushing this industry forward. Founders are building new products, LPs are bringing liquidity, traders are finding new uses, and infrastructure teams are making the whole thing work. It's a privilege to be in the trenches with all of you. We are still early, and there is a huge amount left to build. It will also take time and effort for the old guard to get onboard. This is worth fighting for.

The hard part of building an agent that manages capital isn't the agent. It's that almost nothing onchain is both real yield and legally holdable by a machine. That's the gap we built for. SERV brings the reasoning, we bring the assets. Tuesday with @open_founder.
AI agents will manage trillions in capital across financial markets. Join the Spaces on Sep 22 with OpenServ Founder & CEO @open_founder and @IxsFinance CEO @julian2kwan, to explore what developers can build with SERV - across RWAs, tokenized stocks, automated trading, and more. As AI takes on increasingly complex financial decisions, managing real capital at scale requires better decision-making. With SERV Reasoning, developers will finally be able to build smarter, more reliable agents. Build the future of agentic finance today, and join the 1st SERV Hackathon: openserv.ai/hackathon Set your reminder below.

eCash (BIP-300) vs. Blake2b Chain (BIP-110): Two Forks, Two Philosophies Two Bitcoin forks went live this summer, three weeks apart, and they're really answers to opposite questions. BIP-110 asks: how do we protect Bitcoin from what it's become? It went after inscriptions and on-chain data, needed miner support, got 2.5% of it, stalled for three weeks, then had to abandon SHA-256 entirely and relaunch on a new proof-of-work just to survive. That pivot cost it the one thing it was trying to defend. eCash asks a different question: how do we let Bitcoin become more without breaking what it is? Same supply schedule, same emission, same block template. The only real change is BIP-300/301, letting sidechains handle payments, privacy, prediction markets, and any other use case, while L1 stays untouched. One treats the base layer as a museum to be defended. The other treats it as a foundation to build on, carefully, without touching the foundation itself. History doesn't hand down a verdict here, but it does offer a pattern. Forks built on subtraction, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin SV, tend to fade once their one grievance stops mattering. Forks and platforms built on permissionless addition, Ethereum most of all, end up capturing entire industries, flaws and all. The next two years will show whether that pattern holds. October 31 is when eCash's permanent chain goes live and the experiment stops being a rehearsal. Either way, 2026 made one thing clear: Bitcoin's fights aren't just about its past anymore. They're about who gets to build its future, and how.

Bitcoin shouldn't stop at being digital gold. BIP 300/301 introduced Drivechains: a way to let Bitcoin securely power new chains, without touching its monetary policy. eCash is the first hard fork built on that architecture. Same Bitcoin history. More experimentation. More utility.
