6 clubs tried to end English football as we know it and were fined £22m BETWEEN them. Everton have now essentially been fined £52m plus a no doubt hideous figure on legal fees for simply trying to compete with those big boys (sadly failing) and building a stadium. It’s appalling

Liverpool v Everton is the first game this season with only 3 minutes added time, happened to be when Liverpool were holding on to a 2-1 lead.
2nd half included 6 subs and 3 yellow cards.
When Liverpool have been losing or drawing there has been 5, 7 and 11 added minutes! 🤯

The news here is that an Everton player under contract until 2027 with a 12 month extension option in that deal is open to signing a new contract there but Sky have used it as a vehicle to crowbar Liverpool, Man City, Spurs & Real Madrid into the conversation.

The FA agreed to scrap FA Cup replays because of “expanded European” demands on seven elite Premier League clubs who don’t enter the Cup until the third round anyway, have big squads and some will go on post-season tours or to the Fifa Club World Cup. Such a senseless, heartless decision highlighted this weekend with Non-League clubs like Weston-super-Mare, Hednesford Town, Guiseley, Southend United and others denied a replay, a chance of more revenue and potential memories for a lifetime. The Cup is a great competition, a historic institution that should be cherished and better protected. The game is about David as well as Goliath. #FACup
