Overall have just been a lurker and reply-guy on here in the past but wondering if I should start making more of my own posts? Not entirely sure of what since I don't think there's much that I have to say that would actually be of interest or value, have generally just preferred to be head down, working and continuously learning. I know I've gotten a lot of value from traders, especially options sellers over the years that have really benefited my own trading journey, just not sure if more of that is really of any value. Maybe that's just where I'll start, start posting my trades and thought processes and go from there...

100% this, I always find it challenging when I'm sitting on STO positions that have slowly and steadily been getting eaten by theta decay drop a ton in value from a large underlying move in my favour, then trying to make sure that I'm not chasing but instead taking a step back, re-evaluating, and following the process that works.
The premium seller's worst enemy isn't the market... It's their own urge to "do more" when the strategy is quietly working...

Absolutely loving all the 日本語 content on my timeline now. With trying to learn the language it's been so much better having more immersive exposure. ありがとうございます!

As expected these expired worthless but forgot I posted this since I lost so infrequently... Sold to open $TSLA JUN'26 250P this past week, will add more if we continue pulling back. Doing similar with a handful of other tickers as well but most of those premiums are going into indexes to continue building a solid collateral base. Sold TSLA put premiums go straight into shares. If they go really sideways I'll just calendar roll them. Last year was a great year for premium capture on selling puts with some elevated volatility, taking what worked (and more importantly what didn't work and the lessons learned from those) into this year. My most preferred trade type had been to just use the 4-6 month to expiration trades instead of shorter term. Generally just keeping sold out positions open on tickers I like and continuously harvesting premium, adding more if there's a drop, and just steadily increasing share counts. Paired with price appreciation of the collateral, seeing fantastic growth that I'm super happy with. Looking forward to a great 2026!
Sold some $TSLA DEC'25 200P this morning to fund more share purchases, will ladder in if drop continues. Short term the fundamentals aren't great but their cash pile is good enough to get them through to building what they need to. Energy and robotics are my focus areas.

In the first half of 2025, Tesla Energy brought in revenue equal to 15% of Automotive revenue—but delivered an outsized 30% of Automotive gross profit. Energy is the crucial bridge as Tesla transitions from an EV company to an AI-driven one.

This has been my approach for years now. Has been a fantastic way to generate yield from a growth focused portfolio and now dwarfs my regular contributions to my investing accounts. After a few years of this the snowball really kicks in hard, been fascinating to track it.

Should AJ formulate 10 strong questions for Tesla's upcoming Q2 earnings call for retail investors to vote on on Say. I'll oblige if this gets a majority yes vote and 1,000 reposts.

The issue is not with the fact that she's selling but the fact that it's accrued to hundreds of millions of dollars over the years. No board seat warrants that level of compensation.

Man I should really leverage up on bullish positions whenever I see someone making posts like this, pure capitulation nonsense. Fantastic bottom sentiment indicator!

My calls from this trade are up 200% and my shares up 75%. What nonsense was that that you were spouting?

This past week there have been a string of EV charging station vandalisms across Edmonton - we count over 5 fast charging sites with their cables cut. The short timing suggests that it is a single actor. We are calling upon the @edmontonpolice and @CityofEdmonton to open an investigation into these acts. These damages are easily over $25,000 in repair costs. More importantly this senseless act also causes harm to EV drivers who rely on these charging stations and impedes progress on fighting climate change. We cannot let this crime continue.

The last of these closed out first thing this morning, net $0.65/spread, 13% RoR which I was happy with. Then the stock jumped off a cliff this afternoon, so I'm looking at open same expiration 175P/170P for >$2.00. Heavy volume shelf at that level, similar RoR targets as before.
STO more JAN'26 150P/145P credit spreads and bought another hundred shares. As long as we're still below $200 I'll be doing this on any heavily red days. This overall drawdown has been a huge gift, but I'm right at my limit of how much exposure I want to an individual name.

All of the purchased shares from premiums are long term holds (until my thesis changes) with the exception of opportunities to close out the put credit spreads resulting in a margin loan, at which point I'll still what I need to in order to not hold that loan/pay interest.

Even with my margin of safety it's looking like I'll be able to open a total of ~10% more credit spreads on this round of we get sustained drawdown. Goal is to heavily compound the credit spreads long term, increasing holdings which increases collateral, continue snowballing.
