lol I just got to China and these criminals @Wise have decided to randomly close my account with nearly half a million GBP in it with pending payouts coming in over the next week. They’ve asked me for invoices all week and I’ve sent them all within 6 hours of being asked, and then I still get suspended. How will staff and suppliers get paid? Not even sure what to do at this point, if anyone can help me or point me in the right way let me know. @Wise this isn’t how to treat high profile customers with over a year or business. I am based in UK. Any help is appreciated

Wise shut down my company's business account on October 29 with zero explanation, and they're sitting on our operating cash with no timeline to give it back. Four weeks before Black Friday. I've been a Wise customer for over 2 years without a single issue. We run an 8-figure ecommerce brand, and that money pays our team and our suppliers. Formal complaint filed (ref 52421395). We've done everything they asked. We need our money back this week. @Wise @kaarmann, put a real person on this. Call me, email me, DM me. If you know someone at Wise who can get this in front of the right team, DM me. Reposts help 🙏

By far the best event I’ve ever visited. Room full of killers in the Ecom space. Thanks @RomanEcom and crew for bringing Ecom events to the next level. #shenzhen #ecommerce

The demand for good creative strategists is way higher than the amount of good ones out there. It's like developers pre ai. There weren’t enough good devs, so everyone got huge salaries regardless of how good they were. Same thing with creative strategists right now. The amount most are asking is not in line with the value they deliver. A really good cs should earn their fee back easily. Unfortunately that's often not the case. Most cs just swipe an ad, throw it into an llm and remake it for your product without thinking too much about it. A great cs can make a huge difference, but most aren't good enough.
Starting to think performance marketers are more important than creative strategists.

No one is doing as well as you think they are. But you’re not doing as well as they think you are. So, you’re doing better than you think but worse than they think.

Stop taking inspiration from these big brands. Well, most of you shouldn’t. Almost all of these brands are funded and have completely different unit economics than you, which means they can sustain way higher CACs and won’t run out of cash. On top of that, they’ve been running a while and/or have celebrity endorsements, which means they’ve built up a level of trust and brand awareness. When you copy their funnels and ads, you’re copying a strategy built on advantages you don’t have. The best brands to take inspiration from are the ones that are bootstrapped and scaling quickly.
Back by popular demand, we're reopening the vault. Get access to our most requested resource: the top-performing brand funnel breakdowns of the biggest DTC brands. Not just their ads. The full stack: Paid strategy > Organic > Landing pages > Google ads > Email > Offers Everything. Easily the most ripped asset we’ve ever put out. So we’ve packaged them properly. One folder. Here’s who’s inside: – Alo Yoga – Ancient and Brave – BREZ – Glossier – IM8 – Kind Patches – LOOP Earplugs – Meshki – Rhode – Refy – Wonderskin Use this to cut out weeks of guesswork or get your next winning concept straight from their playbook. Retweet this post and comment "vault" and I'll send it over

Ecom is the closest thing to a real-life video game I swear. - Endless levels - Different story modes depending on the path you choose - Unlock skills that level up your character - Farm gold to travel - Build a squad that fits your mission And the more XP you gain, the stronger you get. The only real rule: Don’t quit before you win.

Your favorite "gurus" are all just trying to take your money. The real sauce, most of the time, is on YouTube from the guys who get a couple of hundred/thousand views. The more I play this ecom game. The faster I can spot the guys who actually know their shit and the ones who just want to seem like it. That said, I'm always trying to invest in coaching and communities because I believe that getting to the next level can go 10x faster if you have people who are already where you want to be. You just have to find the right ones. I'm honestly tired of all the "FASHION", "CLOSURE SALE", "TEST 5 PRODUCTS DAILY" mindset group. Don't get me started with the blackhat MRR guys who sell pills filled with corn starch (iykyk) that cure cancer and give you a bigger pipi. Where can I find the Operators who are trying to build brands that provide real value and impact to the world? Would love to chat with some of you guys. #ecom #Operators

You know, it takes a lot of energy to stay small. To bite your tongue when you know you have more to say. To play down your wins so other people don’t feel uncomfortable. To aim lower than you’re capable of so you don’t attract attention, judgment, or responsibility. Staying small isn’t passive, it's not easy, it’s real work. It’s constant self-editing. Constant justification. Constant negotiating with the part of you that knows you could do more, build more, become more. Playing small doesn’t actually protect you, it just drains you, because that energy has to go somewhere. We both know, if it’s not being used to create, it’s being used to suppress, and if it’s not being used to build, it’s being used to manage fear, doubt, and other people’s expectations. Do you ever wake up with low-grade exhaustion? Do you go about your day with quiet frustration, and do you ever get a sense of “I should be further than this”? That’s the cost of playing small. Growth takes work, but so does being small. At some point on your journey, just the moment before you give up, you'll realize that it takes less energy to be who you actually are than to keep pretending you’re not. And in that moment you stop trying to be small, you'll become honest with yourself and with what you're truly capable of. So make today, the day you realize the only reason you're not where you want to be is because you chose to remain small, and once you do that, you'll realize that you also have the choice to play big. We only have one life to live, make it count, make it worth something, make it memorable, make it amazing, make it into a story that's going to be read for 1,000 years. - Alen

As we come to the end of the year, one of the most profound lessons in mindset I've ever discovered is that the mind only looks at reality in two ways: the loss and the gain. Loss leads to greater loss and gain leads to greater gain. Loss leads to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to violence, if not against others, but against ourselves and to part of ourselves. Negative self-talk, judgment, pessimism, limitations, and every other negative, harmful thing we can do to ourselves are the actual sins of the mind. Gain leads to self-love, acceptance, optimism, expansion, and every other positive thing we can do for ourselves; this is God's true love. So as the year ends, I want you to do make a little mental shift in your mind, and everything you do that's going to marshal all the creative forces in the universe to help you get what you want. Never look at anything as an ending, but rather a new beginning. Ending closes, beginning opens. Ending stops further growth, beginning creates it. Ending kills all creativity, beginning marshals all the creative forces within and without to help us get what we want. Life force is powerful in the beginning, and nonexistent in the end. That's the cycle of life and death, and yet it also works just the same in the mind. Life force is the key to creativity and manifestation. So never look at anything as an ending, but rather a new beginning. Don't look at 2025 as the ending; look at 2026 as the new beginning. Apply this to every area of your life and watch the magick it brings into your life. I hope you had a merry Christmas and wish you a happy New Year's. - Alen

Successful Black Friday yesterday. It's crazy what you can accomplish if you just focus on a single thing consistently for a year. Last year was my first year in ecom, and I barely did any numbers in Q4. This year, I'm ending it off as the market leader in one of my markets. @shauneng @scaleday Thank you. I couldn't have done it without your support and guidance. I will be forever grateful to you guys. ECOM can be cruel sometimes, but as long as you keep stepping up, the rewards are UNBELIEVABLE.

Years ago, when I didn't have much, only the dream, a bit of hope and a whole lot of ambition to make it in life and get rich... ...I asked myself the single most important question , who's answer made me millions in the years that followed... ..."What do I need to know to get there?" The answer was selling, because at the end of the day, SOMEONE has to give you money, and then from that, followed copywriting, because it's the best way you can multiply sales... ...And then after I mastered copywriting, it was change work, and when I started to reach the upper echelons of change work, it was reality work... ...Because when you think about it, reality is nothing more than perception, what we see, but more so what we interpret and understand, and all that stems with the power of the word. Everything starts with a word, and everything ends with a word. Every deal begins with the word “yes” and ends with the word “done.” Every idea begins with “what if…” and ends with “let’s build it.” Every offer begins with “here’s how I can help” and ends with “I’m in.” Every conflict begins with “we have a problem” and ends with “it’s resolved.” Every transformation begins with “I want more” and ends with “I did it.” The world is always in motion, but the word determines the direction. Even God spoke reality into existence with a single command: “Let there be light.” Words have power, magic, and purpose in them; they are the keys that unlock everything in reality. Everything begins and ends with the word. Master them and you'll master reality. - Alen
