A sensible ruling for once by our courts. By how was he n Ireland? Aren’t they all vetted? How many others like him are there?

Why isn’t he deported? Those responsible for allowing him to remain should be jailed.
A Nigerian man tried to fly from Dublin to Canada in 2023 using a lost Irish passport. He claimed a taxi driver gave it to him and told him Ireland wasn’t safe, so he should go to Canada. He pleaded guilty last month. The judge says the story doesn’t add up. He’s been working in a residential home for disabled people in Rosslare the entire time, and is still working there. That’s the quality of person being employed to take care of vulnerable people. crimeworld.com/courts/nigeri…

I earn £100 grand a year. I have a detached house. 2 cars and my wife is a full time home maker. I can just about afford this. I probably couldn’t afford the house I own if I was buying for the first time today. My salary puts me in the top 5% of earners in the UK. Top 5% to have a similar standard of living to Homer Simpson. That is a disgrace. We have a flatter salary distribution than Soviet Russia and the highest taxes and borrowing costs we’ve seen in generations. Success is almost impossible because our tax system means hard work makes you a stressed out tax cow, not wealthy and certainly not free. We need something radical. Less state. More family. Less handouts. More reward for risk. Instead. Tomorrow, Labour will offer another batch of policies which will send one message to aspirational Brits: why bother.

They want to replace us.
More foreigners needed for economic growth. Around 70% of the country's labour force growth until 2034 is projected to come from migrants, an official report has stated. A document prepared for the Minister for Enterprise in August outlined that Ireland's future economic growth will increasingly depend on migration, as the country faces 'significant demographic challenges... an ageing population and declining share of working-age people'.

Dario Maradiaga Flores from Honduras blocked the path of a teenage boy and grabbed his genitals in an unprovoked assault in a gym changing room in Dublin. The maximum sentence for the offence contrary to Section 2 of the Criminal Law (Rape) (Amendment) Act 1990 and Section 37 of the Sex Offenders Act 2001 is 14 years. This individual was given 2.5 years fully suspended. Judge Martin Nolan considered that the sudden nature of the attack was "very unusual", appearing unaware of the impulsive and dangerous nature of paedophiles and other sex offenders. He also clearly considers the loss of the Defendant's job and the fact that he has a "partner" as sufficiently mitigating factors, as well as the fact that his immigration status may have been affected, to justify the fact that this sex offender will never spend a day in prison. The price of this man's freedom should be immediate deportation and a lifetime ban on entry back into Ireland.

The solution.
Replying to @Paul_B_Coleman
I have a feeling that if we abolished minimum wage completely, cut tax, cut benefits, cut regulation, deported millions of foreigners on benefits & net tax liability workers, our real economy would flourish & people would be happier.

Ireland has a 25-year plan called Project Ireland 2040 which comprises the National Planning Framework and the National Development Plan. It includes ESRI projections for a population in excess of 6 million, yet Ireland’s fertility rate is in decline for 50 years and is currently below the replacement rate. There is no policy objective to address the fertility decline. The increased population will not be home-grown. The ambition of Project Ireland 2040 is not to improve the lot of Irish people. The ambition is to grow Ireland into a UN-approved, multi-cultural globalist fiefdom. Part One of a new four-part series is linked below.

When political failure is rewarded & billions of taxpayers money is spent on migrant men who came into the country illegally You govt needs a deep clean & politicians should be legally held to account for spending taxpayers money on something that taxpayers get zero benefit from

🇮🇪 Ireland - 27th October 2026 Honduran national male who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 16-year-old youth at a gym has avoided jail and deportation 🇭🇳 Dario Maradiaga Flores (33) of Maplewood Park, Tallaght, grabbed the boy’s genital area in an unprovoked assault, which Judge Martin Nolan described as “very unusual” due to its sudden nature. Judge Martin Nolan again with a fully suspended sentence. Nolan said he has already "suffered" after losing his job and his immigration status is at risk. Why is yet another migrant pervert not deported.

As expected, the Palestinian woman, Shaymaa Abudalu has successfully forced the Department of Justice to reconsider the denial of a visa to come to Ireland to study. The Department of Justice must now reconsider the application in the next 10 days. No response yet from Dept of Justice, or what this means for the other 40-odd challenges to denials of visas. We should hear later. This Palestinian was represented by Phoenix Law. There is no court record for the case, and because of technology issues at @CourtsServiceIE, we can't even see the ruling.
Judgement Day today for the first challenge by a Palestinian woman, Shaymaa Abudalu in the High Court in Dublin after she was denied a visa to live & study in Ireland. There is no court record for the case, her solicitors weren’t identified at the hearing last week. The betting is, the decision for the denial of the visa will be quashed and the Department of Justice will be ordered to re-consider the application, but we need wait and see. There are believed to be around 40 additional applications which will be affected by today’s lead case decision.

You need to earn over €80k in Dublin to be better off than someone on minimum wage with 2 kids.
I'm hearing a lot of frustration out their on wage compression. Minimum wage workers have their own issues and are right to seek better pay, but when their outcomes often match or exceed those earning more than twice as much after social benefits are factored in, it raises serious questions about the socioeconomic contract. What's the point in having a "good job" if it takes upwards of €75k to be better off than many people on minimum wage?

Just a reminder, in Kilkenny city we had a local so called "independent" councillor who went on local radio and lied about this. Foreign nationals are overrepresented in the social housing figures all over the country. (There is a higher percentage of them in social housing than the percentage they make up of the population.) The Irish people are now in competition with foreign nationals for social housing. #HowIrelandWorks
