Milk = Life. The formula we use to feed orphaned rhinos differs from that of the elephants and is tailored specifically to their unique nutritional needs, carefully balanced for optimal growth and digestion. The feeding schedule differs too: Newborn rhino calves are bottle fed nutritious milk every three hours from dusk till dawn, but once they reach five months, they eat vegetation at night instead. We’ve successfully hand-raised 20 rhinos this way. This critically endangered critter is Chamboi (it was filmed in 2024). Meet him: swt.bio/chamboi
