As much as it is great that iGrafx have launched a learning platform, the word university is a protected word/term in the UK requiring permission from the DOE. I suspect in other jurisdictions it is OK but I feel it is being pretentious nevertheless - sorry.

Watched "The Apprentice Interviews" episode on catch up. Quite shocking, such ignorance of basic business concepts e.g. distinction between sales and profit. All the business plans were hopeless. How many better ones got fired earlier on, who knows?

Am I missing something? We had ambassador users in DSDM back in the nineties, Prince 2 has a senior user on the project board and our projects often had SMEs so is this product manager thing a bit of modern relabeling because apparently project management is just so unfashionable

Is requesting a link on LinkedIn and then messaging with a pitch a cold call? Call calling in the UK on pensions is forbidden by the regulator but people seems to do the above; is it classified as cold calling?

Critical thinking is in decline. Google search, find an article that suits you narrative and post. Checking the source and the intention of the publishing party seems to fall by the wayside. Triangulations of sources, well very rarely seen.

Business Architecture as a topic seems to be on the decline. Having offered training in it for 14 years I have noticed a increasing drop in tweets, LinkedIn discussions and interest over the last few years. People move on to new shiny things.

Seems like a load of well worn stuff here.

Supported by internal and external analysis. Internal - Capability Assessments and SW strengths and weaknesses. External - PESTLE (macro) and OP opportunities and threats.

Enterprise I.T. Architecture - There is a a difference.

All very well and laudable but bankers won't see it like this; you will still need to produce a business plan.

Having taught in an FE college where students are forced to attend maths and English, when they are there for mainly vocational courses, they frequently either don't turn up or continually mess about. Teenagers have to be motivated to learn else it is futile exercise.

Potentially the more senior, the less reflection, less self doubt and more self confidence. The ego grows substantially thus less self recognition that one needs coaching and mentoring; not all but affects many

Rogue Heroes - The use of a sound track containing music 20 years or more in the future of the setting doesn't make sense to me. 1940 drama with sixties rock and roll..... Otherwise good show. #RogueHeroes

Really annoying when watching a season on prime and you go in the following evening to continue and find it has disappeared. Walking dead season 10 where has it gone. #AmazonPrime

Trevaunance Cove a favourite of ours.

Putting the clocks back is so depressing.... Ten to five and its dark and this is in the south of England. Just wish we would leave it on BST.
