If the Eagles fire Nick Sirianni, it will be fascinating to hear how they answer this question: "What message does this send to the next HC?"
Sirianni made the playoffs in each of his first 5 seasons, made 2 Super Bowls, won in 2024, and he's fired 2 yrs later after 1 bad year?

This is only the fifth lifeless season I've had as an Eagles fan.
2005: T.O. drama
2012: Reid fired
2015: Kelly fired
2020: Pederson fired
2026: ?
Both of these are true:
1) It's brutal to watch.
2) We've had it really really good as a fanbase. Some fans have this MOST seasons.

This will be correct. They think they will be competitive in “27” and back to real SB contender in “28”. They won’t even give up being a possible top contender in “27”. Neither Howie or Jeffrey have the mindset to do otherwise
The #Eagles have options ahead of the trade deadline and Howie Roseman will explore them but trading Saquon Barkley isn’t going to be one of them, as Roseman & Co. see him as part of a competitive 2027 roster. From me and @RapSheet 👇🏼 espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5033…

From @TheAthletic: The Kansas City Chiefs are the NFL franchise that provides cover for violent abusers, repeat offenders, and now, because they need someone to make a field goal, an unrepentant sleazeball, our columnist writes. It’s always the Chiefs. nyti.ms/4A4roRW

If I was a fan of another NFL team I would be very annoyed that the Eagles finally being bad for a year is going to result in them finally getting a real Head Coach and a blue chip talent in a draft that is loaded at the top.

This Eagles defense is one of the most disappointing units I’ve witnessed in my life as a Philly sports fan.
The offense you can excuse away due to injuries and what not, you can’t with this defense.
They were supposed to be a top 5 unit that is just absolutely charmin soft.

The Philadelphia Eagles are now 0-8 as home underdogs in the Nick Sirianni era.
They are the only NFL team without a win as home underdogs since 2021.

I feel like there’s less juice for this Eagles-Cowboys game than some “resting starters” Week 18 games in recent seasons.

A.J. Brown says that defenses are intentionally taking him out of the game:
"I know what type of player I am...I get a lot of attention, teams try and take me away and it gives a lot of opportunities for other guys to make plays."

Not enough talk about how Jonathan Greenard has been an absolute complete and total dud for the Eagles this season.

Through 3 games, AJ Brown has:
• 9 receptions
• 101 yards
• 0 touchdowns
Total.
With the #Eagles…
• 9+ receptions in 8 different games.
• 101+ yards in 21 different games.
• 1+ touchdown in 24 different games.
Grass isn’t always greener.
