Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.

I really think everyone needs to pay attention to this cordinated campaign to delegimatize Muslim Americans - not just as citizens but as humans.
These increasingly hysterical attacks are a prelude to Republicans bringing us to a very, very dark place after the election.

ICE agents broke a special-needs student’s wrist on his way to school in Santa Barbara County yesterday. He’s a U.S. citizen. They had the wrong person and left him with no medical care. He needed surgery. I hope he sues the crap out of them.

This is known as “chain refoulment” and it’s a violation of both U.S. and international law.
Within five days of being deported from the U.S., Moussa Diawara says Ghanaian officials forced him onto a flight to Mali, the very country a U.S. immigration judge ruled he could not be deported to. Diawara says he was homeless and went into hiding.

Never forget that Lynn Fitch, the self-proclaimed “pro-life” Mississippi Attorney General who led the charge to overturn Roe V Wade, deemed the murder of this little baby “justified.” I really hope there is a hell so monsters like her can suffer in it for all eternity.

🚨 Masked ICE agents swarm the camera, flashing handcuffs and flexing authority. Taxpayer-funded intimidation is a disgrace. A badge is not a blank check for bullying, and abuse must never become the norm.

ICE just locked up the man who feeds 8,000 Bronx neighbors a month, at his own immigration hearing. Now his food pantry is shut.🤬
Aleksander Nilaj, an Albanian immigrant who founded the Open Hand food pantry in the Bronx in 2012, showed up for his immigration hearing at 26 Federal Plaza in Manhattan. ICE agents detained him instead. He is now held at Delaney Hall, a detention center in Newark, New Jersey. bit.ly/4i8Uqse

Hard to watch that interview with @IlhanMN by @chrislhayes where a sitting member of Congress describes her life in hiding because our own govt is using gestapo tactics to terrorize her family. Every Republican knows that nothing will come of this “investigation” other than this debasement of the whole system by Trump. They all know it.
