called this years ago that the machines will be used as cover for human action that’s the only reason we get these reports about morons trying to reason with machines like they are sentient

Btw there’s nothing that forces a DSA member to be a real person. Anyone could make themselves fake accounts using gift cards and go to town on voting. But I’m sure the paragons of integrity in NYC-DSA would never do that.

I have just published a piece that is very important to me. It's about why so many "progressives" and people on "the left" are lying to us right now about crime, safety, and repression, and what we should be doing instead. equalityalec.substack.com/p/…

⚡️ Mayor Zohran Mamdani's NYPD is poised to sign a three-year, $750,500 no-bid contract with Israeli surveillance firm Cognyte for FalcoNet, an AI-driven device that mimics a cell tower to track phones and can be mounted on police cars and drones or hidden in a backpack, the New York Daily News reported.
Cognyte won a tender to sell intercept spyware to Myanmar's state telecom weeks before the 2021 military coup, Reuters previously reported. Meta banned the firm the same year, saying its customers used fake accounts to target journalists and politicians in Kenya, Mexico and Indonesia.
The firm is part of an Israeli surveillance industry that grew big as a result of the military's monitoring of Palestinians, whose phone calls Israel's Unit 8200 has intercepted and stored by the millions, including to carry out genocide in Gaza and enforce a brutal illegal occupation in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

There is absolutely truth in this. The best comparison for the settler colonialism in Palestine is the settler colonialism in the US. The plight of indigenous “Americans” and Palestinians is the same. The goal is the same. Complete annihilation. Complete replacement. Any

Remember Chomsky denying Israeli role in ousting Assad and saying that he could not think of anything Obama might have done better in Syria?
I assumed this took place in 1948 during the Nakba, but turns out this is what the IDF did in Gaza in March 2026

This is Atara Serwatien. She was born and raised in Texas. She recently relocated to Jerusalem and now promotes Jewish settler terrorism. She says Christian churches in Jerusalem should be destroyed or converted into synagogues. She calls for open slaughter of civilians.
How does anyone, let alone Christians still support this?⬇️ Something is very wrong.

You grieve the death of genocide perps because you are a fucking genocide perp.
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.

This is universally considered occupied Palestinian territory where the Israeli army's presence is illegal under international law.
Just imagine if a foreign military came to your town today and threw you out of your own home. This is what you're watching happen to Palestinians.

Therefore, I hope the world will refer to us by our true name—Yemen, or "Ansar Allah"—rather than using the term "Houthis." The word "Houthi" is merely a surname belonging to the leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi; in reality, the entire Yemeni people participated in the blessed revolution of September 21, 2015.
Labeling us as "Houthis" is a tactic employed by our enemies to diminish our standing as a state, a people, an army, a government, and a revolution.
They seek to portray us as nothing more than a group, a sect, or a political party—but this is incorrect.
We are a state, a people, an army, a government, and a revolution; we are Yemen.
Calling us Houthis is like calling Iranians Khomeinis or Indians Gandhis; this is incorrect.
Houthi is a family name, and Saudi is a family name. Houthi's origin is from Yemen, And the Saudi's origin is from Najd (central Arabian), from the Banu Hanifa tribal stock, centered in Diriyah.
Prophet prayed for the Yemen but kept quiet for Najd.

This is absolutely insane.
The UK seems to have been involved in the kidnapping of Maduro - and the story spiked by an MOD D-Notice.
The kidnapping was the most brazen act of criminality, and UK involvement would almost certainly have been given with Starmer's sign-off. A wretched, wreck of a PM. An unforgivable assault on international law.
