This is absolutely true. @Ol0ye got that perfectly right. 🫡
You put time into training. Make sure you can see what that effort is building.
Choose exercises you can progress. Use challenging weights. Take your rest. Record your lifts. Give your routine enough consistency to see results.
I’m not interested in building another fitness brand.
I’m interested in building something women will still find useful twenty years from now.
You can want a smaller waist and still enjoy your food.
Start with the habits you can repeat: balanced meals, strength training, daily movement and enough rest.
Women really go through four hormonal phases every month, and we’re out here expecting the same energy every single day. 😂
🩸 Menstrual: Can everybody just leave me alone?
🌱 Follicular: I’m back! Let’s get our lives together.
✨ Ovulation: Who’s going to stop me?
🌙 Luteal: Why is everybody suddenly so annoying?
What do you want to lift at 70?
Your suitcase?
Your grandchild?
Yourself out of a chair?
Give your training a future.

A full calendar should still have room for you.
Build strength for the things you want to keep doing. Eat to support the days you ask your body to carry. Give recovery a place before exhaustion makes the decision.
Make that time a standing appointment.

I walked away from fitness for almost ten years.
Four sisters, a mother and a daughter changed what I wanted to understand.
Why is so much training advice still disconnected from the changes women experience throughout life?
Will HRT build your muscle for you?
It helps your body handle meals more like it did before menopause.
Muscle, bone and visceral fat still come down to training, food and sleep.
Quick one.
Which week of your cycle do you feel strongest?
1. The week of your period
2. The week after it
3. Around ovulation
4. The week before your period
5. Different every month
Your cycle runs on four phases. Hormones shift in each one, and energy, recovery and appetite shift with them.
Most training plans repeat the same week all month.
Starting November 2: one phase a week.
Unpopular opinion: stepping on the scale the week before your period tells you very little about fat loss.
Your hormones shift how much water you hold, and the scale can't tell water from fat.
So when do you weigh in? Same day every week, or do you plan around your cycle?
