yep! @new_poli servant leader we supported when no one else thought he could win!
It flew under the radar nationally a bit given everything else that happened on Tuesday, but Bryan Steil — who was widely considered to be the frontrunner to be the 2028 Republican nominee for Wisconsin Senate if Ron Johnson actually retires this time — lost his re-election bid.

Claudette Colvin refused to give up her bus seat months before Rosa Parks did. Progress always needs someone willing to go first. To anyone thinking about running but afraid of losing: run anyway. emilycherniack.substack.com/…

The Trump administration gutted the Forest Service, politicized the Justice Department, and fired a three-star admiral. Now three of those public servants are headed to Congress: Sam Forstag, Zach Dembo, and Nancy Lacore. You can’t sideline servant leaders.

In the past 119 days, @DavidCCrowley dropped out, saying he had no path to victory. He got back in the day after @saraforwi pulled out. He won the primary by 3,673 votes. He got out spent by @TomTiffanyWI 2-1. And won by a guv's race by the largest margin since Tommy in '98.

A shout out to all the campaign staff this cycle. Especially @SethKrasne, who had no statewide campaign experience prior and ran one of the best campaigns I’ve seen this cycle. Truly an incredible talent who led James to victory in Texas by leading and building a great team!

I’m so over these dudes arguing about this. We should actually care about leadership. Who gets things done regardless of whether they are populists, moderates, etc. We need to flip the narrative and be about impact, leadership, and results full stop.
This is simply wrong. Moderates won almost every single one of these tough races.

So true. Walking back to my hotel post election night speeches— it was bananas!
Austin Texas sounds like an Eastern European city that just overthrew a dictator

This one is special. We met Zach almost 18 months ago. We backed him early and went all-in despite the tough race. He's exactly the type of leader we need in Congress and we're honored that New Politics was the first national org to endorse him. Congrats Zach!
FLIPPED: Former Navy JAG officer, federal prosecutor, and teacher Zach Dembo wins KY-06, a seat Trump carried by 15 points in 2024. The Bluegrass State is sending a servant leader and corruption fighter to Congress when we need it most. Let’s go @ZachDemboKY! #KY06

Pia Dandiya wins Florida’s 22nd District! @PiaforCongress started out teaching in a classroom, and she has never stopped believing that service should deliver real results for people. Tonight, voters in #FL22 chose her to bring that same focus to Congress.
