In my experience, doctors, nurses and other front line NHS workers are held accountable, even when it’s not their failing.
So if there was ever a ‘no blame’ culture in the NHS, it never extended beyond the board room or the management class.
Today’s Thirlwall report says that the move to a ‘no blame’ culture in the NHS in the 2000’s was a mistake.

Macklemore has been dropped from the remaining dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour following a petition by a pro-Israel lobby group, which was shared by Pink, after he said “Free Palestine.”
The tour promoter, Messina Touring Group, said multiple stadiums refused to host the concerts if Macklemore remained on the lineup, including:
• Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
• Gillette Stadium, Foxborough
• Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
• Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis
• Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte
• AT&T Stadium, Arlington
• Raymond James Stadium, Tampa
They said to prevent cancellations affecting hundreds of thousands of fans, stakeholders decided to remove him from the tour.

It's a reflection on the depressing state of our national discourse right now that the UK Prime Minister is doing The Great North Run to raise money for a homeless charity that helps over 14,000 people a year and his donations sit at just £3,233.

Since it's inception the RNLI have lost a minimum of 438 crew attempting to saving lives at sea. More depending on how you define that.
Every single time a volunteer answers that call they show more courage than any of the armchair warriors shouting at their keyboards.
This is my nursing team now;
We change in public toilets, don’t have a staff room, office or any private space. It’s really affected my team and I. I took it as far as I could up the chain as I couldn’t believe this would not horrify them too. Surprise they don’t give a shit.
