Once Utexo’s rails are live, here’s how it works for a wallet or exchange. A user wants to bring their USDT onto Bitcoin. They deposit it through the Mint interface, the incoming tokens are locked, and the equivalent amount is issued as native RGB USDT on Bitcoin. The user controls the asset, and its transaction history stays with the parties involved rather than being exposed on a public ledger. Bitcoin only records the cryptographic commitment. The user can then send those dollars to another wallet or exchange. The transaction data stays private between the parties, while Bitcoin’s proof of work provides the underlying security. When they want to move their USDT back to the original chain, they redeem it through Mint and the locked tokens are released. Fees are another big advantage. Operators know the commission upfront, without having to guess what network congestion might do to gas costs. That makes it easier to plan trading spreads, set user fees, or include the cost in an existing fee structure. Utexo also makes integration simpler with a single API and SDK for minting, transfers and redemption. Exchanges, wallets and custody providers can connect their existing systems without having to build each part from scratch. Liquidity tools can also help manage movement across supported networks and handle fiat conversion where needed. For exchanges, this opens the door to trading pairs settled in native assets on Bitcoin. Wallets can offer users dollar balances alongside their BTC without asking them to manage wrapped tokens or carry out cross-chain transfers themselves. Lending desks could also use RGB USDT or native BTC as collateral, provided their lending systems support the asset and the necessary arrangements are in place. Privacy doesn’t mean operators have to abandon compliance. The system can support selective disclosure when required, allowing businesses to maintain their AML controls while keeping everyday transaction details off the public blockchain. Utexo brings minting, transfers and redemption into one connected flow, with quoted fees and Bitcoin-backed security. For wallets and exchanges looking to bring dollar liquidity to Bitcoin, that’s a practical route to building on the network without making users deal with all the moving parts themselves. @utexocom #USDT #BTC #NativeBitcoin #homecoming

Anticipating Phase 1 of Utexo is already exciting. How much more Phase 2? I think Phase 2 will be even more thrilling, especially when you consider what it means to bring USDT onto Lightning for near-instant payments. On November 28, Phase 1 brings USDT to Bitcoin through RGB. People will be able to access it through partner wallets and exchanges, with private transfers and the ability to mint and redeem USDT. Then comes Phase 2, planned for Q1 2027. That’s when Utexo plans to bring those same assets onto Lightning, making USDT on Bitcoin practical for everyday payments. For phase 1, RGB transfers on mainnet happen without Lightning. With Phase 2, USDT will be able to move through Lightning channels, making settlement near-instant instead of having to wait for block confirmations. Applications can get real-time payment execution while ownership remains anchored to Bitcoin through RGB’s existing commitment model. Think about what this could mean for everyday use. A merchant could accept USDT and receive payment confirmation quickly. Wallets and payment apps could support regular spending, not just large transfers or business treasury movements. Utexo is also working on mobile support through its React Native SDK, so developers can build payment experiences that run natively on phones. Another useful part is offline receiving through HODL-style invoices and the Lightning Service Provider coordination layer. This means a recipient won’t have to be online at the exact moment a payment is sent. That could make using Lightning a lot less complicated for regular users. And developers won’t have to manage all the channel operations themselves. Utexo handles channel management, liquidity access and routing behind its API and SDK, so applications can integrate the payment functionality without running their own nodes or constantly rebalancing channels. Phase 1 gets USDT onto Bitcoin. Phase 2 is about making it useful for the payments people and businesses make every day. There’s still a bit of a wait for Phase 2, but I’m looking forward to seeing what developers build with it. Is the wait also thrilling for you??? @utexocom #Utexo #USDTonBitcoin #BitcoinLightning #USDTHomecoming #lightningnetwork #Bitcoin

Educating about $ on ₿ is a priority for the whole RGB ecosystem. Thank you to everyone who attended the Stablecoin Summit!
That's a wrap for the Stablecoin Summit! Thanks to all the speakers, moderators and attendees, and especially to @utexocom for supporting the event. We believe it's important to educate the ecosystem about the stablecoin market, seing that digital dollars are arriving on Bitcoin. The Association is always happy to bring builders, investors and educators together to discuss opportunities and risks openly. See you at the next one!

Seeing @VIhnatiuk take the stage for @utexocom at The Future of Capital Markets in Lugano last week landed as a clear win for Bitcoin native stablecoins. He showed USDT being minted onto Bitcoin and then redeemed back, with the entire process running on RGB live in front of the audience. That’s the part I find exciting. People got to see the actual process working, not just hear about what Utexo plans to build. The event, hosted by @BFXSecurities and Blockstream Capital Partners, gave Utexo a clear platform to prove the technology works in practice. Bringing USDT onto Bitcoin with RGB’s privacy and settlement properties is a meaningful step. Bitcoin native USDT is getting closer by the day, and Utexo is showing the work behind it is real. @utexocom #Bitcoin #USDT #RGB #BitcoinFi

A trader can have $1 million on one exchange and spot a good opportunity on another, yet still struggle to get the money there in time. The blockchain might be fast, but that doesn't mean the exchange withdrawal will be. There are approval processes and compliance checks to go through, and by the time the funds arrive, the trade might no longer make sense. Utexo is working on something to help with this. It connects exchanges through a shared mega channel linking their Lightning nodes. So, when a withdrawal has been approved but the funds are still settling, Utexo can front the deposit on the receiving exchange almost immediately. The money used for this comes from liquidity users stake in the channels, which they earn from providing. For high frequency traders using USDT on Bitcoin, this could change how they manage funds across exchanges. They wouldn't have to wait for every transfer to finish before accessing funds on the other side, or keep large amounts of money sitting on every platform just to be ready for the next trade. The cost matters as well. Utexo is aiming to charge less than traditional prime brokers, leaving traders with more room to make their arbitrage trades worthwhile. It's one of the ways Utexo is tackling the challenges around moving and using money on Bitcoin. Traders need their capital where the opportunities are, and waiting on transfers can get in the way. @VIhnatiuk @utexocom @gate_ventures #Bitcoin #USDT #RGB #Utexo

Amazing panel
The "Stablecoins on Bitcoin" panel at @LuganoPlanB brought together some interesting perspectives. Different approaches, one common goal: strengthening Bitcoin as the settlement layer for global finance.

Aaand it's on! RGB on stage at @LuganoPlanB with @FedericoTenga and @VIhnatiuk. Stablecoins might be seen as Bitcoin enemies, but they are actually useful to push the usage of Bitcoin itself. RGB is the meta-protocol that represents a great scalability solution, opening the path for @utexocom to make USDT a reality on Bitcoin. Let's keep building!

Utexo has locked in a spot in Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program, and that is just like one of those quiet but genuinely useful moves that can open real doors. @Mastercard set up the program earlier this year to bring crypto teams, payment firms and banks together to discuss how digital assets can work with the payment systems people already use. With @utexocom now part of it, there’s an opportunity to get its work on stablecoin settlement in front of people who understand the payments industry. Stablecoins already move value between crypto networks and traditional finance. For Utexo, these conversations could help create connections around private, business-level dollar transfers using Bitcoin, RGB and Lightning. This doesn’t mean a Mastercard integration is live or that a new product has launched. It gives Utexo a chance to build relationships and explore how its infrastructure could fit into the wider payments space. USDT’s homecoming to Bitcoin is closer than ever. @utexocom @Mastercard #Utexo #Mastercard #Stablecoins #Bitcoin #CryptoPayments

Utexo Mint is opening the door to something big for USDT on Bitcoin, and we’re getting closer to seeing it go live. Early access opened on October 22, giving professional operators the chance to test the full process on Bitcoin Signet, from minting USDT to making confidential transfers and redeeming it. The public launch is set for November 28. That’s just over a month for exchanges, wallets, market makers, OTC desks and trading firms to get their integrations ready and make sure everything works as expected. And honestly, this is where things get exciting. Teams that get their systems ready early will have a head start in bringing native USDT on Bitcoin to their users and serving the demand that follows launch. Utexo also has tools available for managing liquidity across networks and handling fiat conversions, giving operators more to work with as they prepare. November 28 is getting closer, and I’m looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. The groundwork is happening now, and the teams that move early could be among the first to bring this experience to market. If you’re an operator, now is the time to request access: mint.utexo.com @utexocom @unisat_wallet #Bitcoin #USDT #RGB #Utexo
