I have just informed my colleagues that I will step down as @ECB President on 7 February 2027.
It has been a source of great pride to serve this institution.
I thank all of those who have supported me on this journey over the past seven years.

🚨UPDATE: Seven more companies have objected to having their shares tokenized on OKXICE’s planned venue, bringing the total to 33.
JPMorgan, AMD, Applied Materials, Coca-Cola, Adobe, Dell and Sandisk were added in an updated notice Tuesday evening.
More than half of the 62 companies @okx/@ICE_Markets initially named have now objected.
🚨UPDATE: Four more issuers have objected to @okx/@ICE_Markets tokenizing their shares under the SEC’s innovation exemption: IBM, Oracle, Intel and IonQ. That brings the total to 26.

2026 marks Ripple’s best year ever. Last year, we set out to build the full stack of blockchain infrastructure, bolstered by native product growth and strategic M&A. This year, it’s all about integration, and the results speak for themselves.

Fair warning, we packed a lot into one release (if not now, then when?). In all seriousness, I’m so incredibly proud of the entire @Ripple team. Our best year ever – approaching $900M in annualized product revenue run rate exiting 2026, with customers and partners like Standard Chartered, DBS, HSBC, Robinhood, BNY and more using our blockchain infrastructure solutions built with XRPL for a variety of use cases to move, hold, tokenize and deploy assets.
Kicking off our 10th @RippleSwell with a bang. 💥

Trade finance is coming to the XRP Ledger!
Today, we’re expanding our collaboration with @BNYglobal across custody and tokenized trade finance, bringing BNY’s institutional scale together with $RLUSD, @XRP and the XRP Ledger.

$XRP MONEY WATCH
BNY opened its Digital Asset Custody platform to $XRP and RLUSD for institutional clients. Ripple also received final OCC approval for Ripple National Trust Bank. Once it’s operational, the bank will manage the reserves behind RLUSD and can offer fiduciary digital asset custody.
BNY already holds the RLUSD reserves. Direct minting and redemption through BNY is also being worked on, along with tokenized trade finance on XRPL with C2FO. That part is still exploratory.
The U.S. spot $XRP ETFs had a $3.6 million outflow on October 26, all from Bitwise. The other funds were flat. Total assets are around $1.47 billion with cumulative net inflows still around $1.80 billion.
RLUSD is around $2.58 billion total, with about $999 million on XRPL and around $1.58 billion on Ethereum. $XRP is around $1.32 today, up about 1.5% over the last 24 hours with roughly $1.5 billion in spot volume. Funding is positive, open interest isn’t showing anything unusual, and there wasn’t a major liquidity event overnight.
The Fed decision comes tomorrow. Rates are still 3.75% to 4.00%, the 10 year is around 4.99%, and the 2 year is around 4.71%.
That’s $XRP MONEY WATCH.

Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises.
We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight.
The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.

Earlier this week I lost someone close to me. Death is abstract - until it is incredibly real.
He was the wisest, most thoughtful, and most generous person I have known.
I was incredibly fortunate to call him:
- a friend
- a mentor
- a role model
- an inspiration
But most of all, I was fortunate to call him Dad.

$XRP LEDGER CHECK
Something very different showed up on XRPL yesterday. About $49.7 billion worth of $XRP moved between addresses on October 19. The same metric had been around $800 million on the days before that. That’s a massive jump, but before anyone runs with it, that doesn’t mean $49.7 billion of new money bought $XRP. It just means that much $XRP moved.
Normal payment volume has actually been pretty light. October 17 finished around 119.5 million $XRP in successful payment volume, compared with a recent 30 day average around 629 million $XRP. So there was a huge jump in $XRP moving between addresses without the same jump showing up in normal payments.
There was also a big wallet move early today. A new address received 82,314,668 $XRP, worth about $106 million at the time. That transfer activated the wallet, and more than 12 hours later the full amount was still sitting there.
Neither wallet is labeled, so I’m not calling it accumulation, an exchange move, or institutional activity. We know 82.3 million $XRP moved into a new wallet. That’s it.
The network is running normal. Ledgers are closing in about 4.1 seconds, load is low, and around 3,145 new accounts were created over the latest 24 hours.
fixCleanup3_4_0 is still at 29 of 35 validators. Nothing changed there, so I’m not recycling the same countdown again.
$XRP is trading around $1.30 to $1.33 this morning, up about 1.5 to 2.5 percent over 24 hours after dipping near $1.26 yesterday.
$49.7 billion in $XRP changed addresses in one day, and another 82.3 million $XRP landed in a brand new wallet this morning. We know it happened. We don’t know who moved it or why.
Settlement liquidity is exactly the kind of use case @XRP Ledger and RLUSD are built to support.
@Arf_One is bringing its approach to settlement liquidity to the XRP Ledger, using RLUSD to support short-term working capital for licensed payment companies as cross-border payments settle.
Arf is bringing settlement liquidity to the @XRP Ledger.
Cross-border payments move trillions of dollars every year, but the capital needed to move that money often remains tied up across markets.
That’s why we’re partnering with @Ripple to bring RLUSD-powered settlement liquidity to licensed cross-border payment companies on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).

I’ve got something very important coming soon for the $XRP community.
Some information that I believe deserves everyone’s attention, and I’ve got the receipts to back it up.
Stay tuned, frens.
