It was our last session of #GameZero book club andy had ask for more books by the fabulous @edgechristopher. I brought a copy of his new book but when reading the blurb, look what they spotted on the bottom of the book! They can't wait to drive into this adventure now! 👀📚

Rode out of spooky season with these 2 crackers. 👻
Very different scares, but both terrific reading.
A ghostly, supernatural punch in the guts from @Hickesy, and a frantic chase from a sinister entity by @edgechristopher, have seen me right.
Nice one, lads! 👍

There's nothing quite like a scary story on #Halloween 👻
But it turns out that horror fiction could have real benefits for young readers.
Here, Fear Files author @edgechristopher explains why 👇
booktrust.org.uk/resources/f…
ALT An illustration from the front cover of Fear Files: Hide and Seek featuring a child looking up at a scary monster-style shadowy figure, surrounded by glowing green lights. Plus a quote from author Christopher Edge: "Children use scary stories as a way to identify and master their fears - a crucial stage in child development - equipping them to deal with the real world"
I don't know why exactly, but as Halloween approaches the Amazon sales ranking for ESCAPE ROOM: GAME ZERO is making me feel rather uneasy, so if you could help move the dial, I'd be most grateful! And ESCAPE ROOM and ESCAPE ROOM: GAME ZERO are both currently half price there btw.
