.@gavinortlund did a wonderful job defending historic Protestant theology on @ibrycecrawford’s podcast.
Theology matters!

“God has no history. As soon as you say that God has a history you have left eternality.” - @1689Dogmatician at the SCRBPC.
Christian Nationalism proponents of the @JoelWebbon, @Brian_Sauve @Eric_Conn expression:
Do you guys believe that, in the eternal state, there will be separate nations with unique ethnicities/races for all of our glorified eternity?
Why or why not?
I, for one, am going to keep preaching the soul saving and life transforming gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ on the streets and in the pulpit of God’s local churches.
Freedom of speech is a precious privilege!

What a blessing to have Bro. @jaredcwilson preach to my church family!
Thank you so much to you and @thebecky for coming!
It saddens me that the most I see Utah Christianity (generally speaking) talked about is in negative reference to Ogden, Utah.
Guys, there is much more going on in Utah besides Ogden stuff.
Please keep praying for Christ’s local churches in Utah. We all need it!
This is a good brother! Please consider helping him if you can!
If you can help at all, any little would help. Rolo and I would be very grateful

I'm a street preacher and 1 of 2 pastors @ FBC Provo in Provo, Utah (where it is 0.3% evangelical Christian). Also, bro. Joe Hinson (@Sola_Fide_) in my church is a full-time street preacher also. I would love to get in contact with you!
Language is important, especially within the local church. In this ep, Josh is joined by Dr. @edromine to discuss their pet peeve of the hierarchical language used within local churches for their leadership. Listen wherever you get your pods.

.@joshlofthus is in fact loosing fat weight. 65 lbs!!!
To put that into perspective, Ol’ Josh lost of off his body the equivalent weight of an adult female Golden Retriever! 🙂
Joel cannot respond to that!
.@TexasPreacher is correct.
.@dalepartridge is not correct.
And I am a Baptist!
I love you, Ryan!
I would join you in an outreach in the open air in a heartbeat! 🙂

"God has never healed the man who was never wounded, nor has he made the man alive who was never dead."

Agreed!
@virgilwalker and I talked together on the phone. All is reconciled, and God is good!
Replying to @edromine
Simple misunderstanding. Let's calm the waters and give ourselves time to connect. I've reached out. I'm a behind-the-scenes kind of guy. We'll work it out behind the scenes.
Please pray for the precious saints of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church and The First Baptist Church of Lindale, Texas.
Whatever you think of the current nasty situation, remember that there are ones for whom Christ died that are hurting and/or confused.
Jesus loves his churches.
.@_TheoMed (Tony) & I took to the phone for the rest of our discussion, & we had a wonderful conversation & discussion on homiletics and soteriology.
Thank you, brother, for being so willing to talk on the phone with me!
You’re arguing against a straw man, Ed. No one thinks a sermon should cite like in an academic paper. In fact, most preachers writing academic papers do not even know how to properly cite things in those. What we are talking about is something like what MacArthur did. He could say, “Packer said, ...,” or “as one commented, ...”
My question to you what not about whether or not you “don’t see an issue with not citing in a sermon like an academic paper,” but rather why you feel the need to argue a position that is not even the view of Buck’s own church, or perhaps even Buck himself? Why do you feel the need to say his previous practice was totally blameless when Buck himself, in accord with his church authority, sees a need to change his ways? Why do you feel the need to go beyond the view of Phil Johnson, Tom Ascol, and Buck’s own church to say he’s totally without fault in what he was doing? That is my question to you.
