On BBC news tonight, a French politician has named her cat #Brexit because it likes to stand by the door but it doesn't want to leave.
A member of parliament, Simon Clarke, just said on TV that we now have a choice between "a bad deal and no #Brexit." Anyone interested in a bad deal? Thought not.

.@AlokSharma_RDG You're a good guy doing a good job for us. What's happening with Brexit now is ludicrous and painful. Revoke Article 50. #Remain!

@johnlewis really isn’t what it used to be. Not impressed with lack of people to help me on your homeware department in Oxford Street

This letter brought tears to my eyes. It’s the Europe I believe in, the Europe that past British statesmen like Churchill, Bevin and Eden played such a prominent part in calling into being. What has happened to us?
The most remarkable & significant letter to the Times of my lifetime

Just come out of Downing St after robust discussion with PM. I urged her to take no deal off the table & stop blackmailing MPs. I raised rights of 3 million & pressed hard on a #PeoplesVote But sadly these talks are coming far too late & no sign PM is willing to compromise

Oh wait, here's a thought...
If a deal is impossible, and no one wants no deal, then who will finally have the courage to say what the only positive solution is?

This is priceless.
You've been asking about the John Lewis advert, well here it is... @TwitterUK gave me a starring role in my very own Christmas #ad #NotARetailStore

The current home of the U.S. Open started out as a derelict relic of the 1964 World's Fair. Now it's a state-of-the-art, moneymaking playground for tennis. Here's your guide. nyti.ms/2Pb8xhJ

Best joke from a meeting today, courtesy of Ralph McNutt: "There's a lot of [public] talk about future interstellar missions. It's a very complex topic; it has both a real part and an imaginary part."

My son's a little worried that Santa may skip our house because he was sometimes bad this year. I explained that Santa uses an exponentially weighted moving average to compute your goodness score, so more recent datapoints dominate and he's probably fine.
