PGEducation

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that I will be in the position of Deputy Head Teacher from September 2025. I am so privileged to be surrounded by my DVA colleagues and so lucky that my previous ones still support me after all this time. #education #eduX

A good signing for Derby has to be a player who will go straight into our best 11. I’d say Cashin and Ozoh do exactly this. Add a winger to the mix and I think most Derby fans would accept it’s a good window. Just depends if rumours become truth. #dcfc

The decision to let Ebou Adams go because we wanted to bring other people in, looks to be a shocking choice right now. Sanderson talks about needing players to run through brick walls, Ebou would run through the wall and use the spare bricks for his next tackle! #dcfc

Summer holiday tradition. Covering books. It’s a bit like the 90s but instead of using collages of pop stars or even wallpaper, these have a more academic feel. 😃 Has anyone still got one from the 90s to share? #edutwitter #books #90s

Well this is something I never thought I’d end up teaching. I blame the person who makes the timetable 😆 Best get cracking making some lessons. #edutwitter #childdev

Accessible rugby for people with learning disabilities at the Magic Weekend. Don’t be completely fooled by the media, society has come so far in this country. #magicweekend

Dear England - Gareth A leader who saw fundamental flaws in society and was brave enough to challenge the norm. I am gutted for him that we weren’t able to bring it home. But every story has a beginning, middle and end. The end is not yet written. #dearengland

Anyone know why the 40 miles per hour symbol keeps flashing and more importantly how to turn the flashing off. @MercedesBenz #mercedes

TEACHERS OF THE UK TURN YOUR ALARM OFF! like or comment if I saved you from the morning panic. #education

Good luck to all those waiting for “the call” on Monday. Just remember that when they turn up, they want to hear all about your successes. I wonder how many calls are made per day! Leaving the rest waiting.

At least I got a trophy !

And just like that. Ofsted have paid us a visit and then disappeared into the sunset. Leaving ten massive piles of books to be delivered back to their rightful owners. It’s been a pleasure - see you again in the next World Cup year. #education

No way am I going into Belper Mills now. #ArcRaiders #arc

The World Cup draw is actually painful to watch. I mean come on, we understand it’s going to be a commercialised event but this is ridiculous. #worldcupdraw

Would this proposal mean students wouldn’t have to choose history or geography as one of their options? Providing they did a language (or not)? Does RS count as a humanities in this model? I’m glad progress 8 is staying I like the discussion and it’s a good time to have it.

Thank you for having us Hellas Verona. #verona #hellasverona

Here’s to all those people who work in education who are about to embark on a mini adventure somewhere. Or curl up into a ball and get some kip. #teachertired #halfterm

My top dieting tip… Instead of a sandwich and a bag of crisps. Just have a crisp sandwich. #diet

The latest Field Of Dreams show is the perfect psychological case study for what some communities and in particular young people are facing. Getting young people to see the benefits of social engagement is key. As adults we are simply the facilitators. @flintoff11 @kylehogg22

Wayne Rooney. Still annoying teachers after all these years.
