Never tell someone to quit what they put passion behind. As I go through life, I find more and more people who want to put me down or extinguish my fire. I don’t think this always comes from hate. Sometimes people project their own fears onto you. Your ambition makes them uncomfortable because it forces them to confront the things they gave up on, never started, or convinced themselves were impossible. And sometimes, people really are quietly rooting for your downfall. That’s why I’ve learned to be careful with my dreams. You don’t have to announce everything you’re going to do. Every time you explain the vision, defend it, or look for validation, you’re giving a piece of its energy away. Some things are better protected in silence while they’re still becoming real. Work quietly. Let people misunderstand you. Let them doubt you. Most importantly, don’t let their doubt become your internal voice. Your life is yours to build. Protect your fire until it’s big enough that nobody else can put it out. no crying in the casino
