Lindsay Clancy's lawyer last month: "When she killed the kids, she was experiencing psychosis"
Today: "Who says she killed them?!"

The other jurors have spent all week calling the lone male holdout an arrogant, uncooperative dummy who didn’t understand the law or follow the rules. Now we come to find out that they were talking about the only black guy in the room this whole time. Leftists have accidentally sided with 11 white bullies against a black man who stood up to them. Just an absolutely amazing twist. You couldn’t script it any better.

I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) at 21 years old. After I gave birth in my 30’s, I had the same thoughts people are using to excuse Lindsay Clancy. I saw myself throwing my son down the basement stairs. I saw myself throwing him from a moving car. I heard voices. I tried to kill myself twice.
I told my husband. I made the choice and refused to be left alone with my son until I was stable. I did not have her doctors or her money. I still knew what I was thinking. I still CHOSE not to do it.
Those thoughts do not appear, get obeyed, and then vanish. That is a cop-out. I took all the medications they keep trying to excuse her with. I was not well. I was still responsible. I CHOSE to ensure my son was safe until I was ok again.
You will never convince me otherwise, She killed those children.
IF a voice was there, she made the CHOICE to listen. That is not illness doing the killing. That is a decision.
And now the jury is deadlocked. Nine women and three men. They were not sequestered. They were just told “don’t look at the news” and sent home. Several showed up in pink, the same color her supporters wear outside court. That is flat out unacceptable.
Three babies were strangled. This should not be a club. She deserves the full weight of the law.
Were it up to me, that would be public execution.

If Lindsay Clancy shot up a school because she was in postpartum psychosis… Does that still make her not guilty?

Prosecutor Jennifer Sprague presented a master class in closing arguments. She clearly addresses the fact that this case isn’t about women’s healthcare. Speaks to Clancy’s noncompliance in her treatment. As a labor and delivery nurse, with 18 weeks maternity leave that could be extended, a great healthcare plan, supportive extended family, and a nanny at home, Clancy had every opportunity imaginable to address her mental healthcare needs.
"What's on trial here is what Lindsay Clancy did the night of January 24th, 2023."
Plymouth County Assistant DA Jennifer Sprague tells jurors not to be distracted by arguments about the mental health system or how the system treats women, saying those issues are meant to make them "angry and passionate" but are not what the case against Lindsay Clancy is about.
Sprague says the focus is Clancy's mental state when she killed her three children, arguing jurors can consider her psychological and treatment records to understand how she reached that point and what her motivation was.
