hey #GodotEngine people, i've just released a set of addons for multiplayer games, take a look!
github.com/foxssake/netfox
it does time synchronization, rollback netcode, has a docs site AND a full example game, and some more

tbh saying "ill get this done in 4 days" sounds way dumber and unrealistic compared to "yeah, 5."

this really made me consider going with the left for my own shitlib's site, I have trouble building the right anyway
I am also thinking of just pulling in bootstrap for 90% of the styling

love these posts recently, specifically how you mix the feeling of analogue with technical

personally I think of myself as 2 time hand sculpting victim / survivor
for the record, these are just a few things off the top of my head, I haven't read _all_ the things steam provides. and you get it for 30% of your sales, without having to do anything. can be a good deal to many, bad for others.
isn't it? e.g. steam gives you relays, so you don't have to host for your multiplayer games. it gives you lobbies, so you don't need to self-host. it gives you accounts, so you don't have to host infra and manage security incidents for storing user data.
what's the alternative?

Sometimes it feels like I'm posting in invisible mode. Creating art takes time, passion, and a lot of hard work. But sometimes, it just feels like my posts disappear into the void, and hardly anyone gets to see them.
If you enjoy what I create, please consider sharing this post. It would help me reach more people and keep doing what I love.
My Snailien is available on Patreon. The scene was created in Blender, combining some assets, VDBs, cinematic lighting, and a weird alien snail. Have fun playing with it.

I was thinking the same, but it almost looks like the heat appears and disappears in different order? E.g. when you fire the front of the barrel heats up, but as it cools, the highlight stays longer on the back.
Maybe grayscale with trickery, maybe not

truly insulting that AI took over using emojis in lists, I have personally, painstakingly hand-picked emojis for my lists in some of my READMEs

imo when the term originated, you could not do arbitrary compute on gpu, so it could only mean rendering on cpu.
today it can have more meanings since we have shaders

it's a classic software engineer thing, isn't it? lol
"here's this cool new thing, let's use it to automate more problem solving!" instead of "let's use it to solve more problems!"
been messing with ragdoll physics and I have never related to a bunch of triangles so hard
