My take on the late singer’s burial issue.
It’s completely okay for the wife to not want him buried at their home, and it’s also completely okay for the parents to not want their son buried at the mortuary.
Let’s not act like the parents aren’t grieving too. Both sides are hurting, and I believe they can reach an amicable resolution and let the de@d rest.

My ex-husband humiliated me in front of 200 wedding guests, called me trash, and thanked God for leaving me. Then my 12-year-old son stood up with a wooden box and asked his father one question that made the entire ballroom go silent.
Daniel had cheated on me before our divorce. He had lied about the affair, blamed me for the collapse of our marriage, and somehow convinced everyone that I was the bitter ex-wife who couldn’t accept being replaced.
I had spent three years rebuilding my life while he spent those same years showing off his new wealth and preparing to marry Victoria, the daughter of a powerful attorney.
I almost refused the wedding invitation. But Noah wanted to attend. He said he wanted to see his father happy.
I should have questioned why my son had suddenly become so determined to go.
The wedding was held in a luxury hotel ballroom. Crystal chandeliers hung above tables covered in white roses. Daniel stood beside Victoria in his tailored tuxedo, smiling like a man who had never destroyed anybody’s life.
Then came his speech.
He thanked his new in-laws, praised Victoria for accepting him, and raised his champagne glass.
“Some people are lessons. Others are mistakes you survive. Leaving my first wife was the best decision of my life.”
He pointed directly at our table.
“Look at her. I traded trash for treasure.”
The ballroom erupted in laughter.
Victoria smiled awkwardly. Her father, Richard Vale, laughed louder than anyone.
I felt every eye in that room land on me. I wanted to disappear, but I refused to give Daniel the satisfaction of watching me cry.
I reached for Noah’s hand.
“Come on, sweetheart. We’re leaving.”
He didn’t move.
Instead, he stood, picked up a small wooden box from beneath his chair, and looked straight at his father.
“Dad, before you marry her, there’s something Grandma wanted you to have.”
Daniel’s smile vanished.
Not because of the box.
But because Noah had just mentioned someone nobody in that room expected to hear about again.
His grandmother, Eleanor.
The woman Daniel had buried six months earlier.

I like being myself around people, but I also understand that not everybody needs to know everything about me.

I rented a car during my holiday in Okinawa, Japan, expecting nothing more stressful than navigating unfamiliar roads.
That changed when I tried to reverse into a parking space near a small tourist attraction.
At barely 2 km/h, the rear bumper gently scraped a low concrete wall.
I stopped immediately and got out to inspect the damage. There was a small scratch on the bumper. The wall was fine, nobody was hurt, and no other vehicles were involved.
I called the rental company and explained exactly what had happened. They handled the insurance side and told me what I needed to do next.
Then came the part I wasn't expecting.
"You must report the accident to the police," the employee explained.
"Even though it's only a scratch?"
"Yes. Please call 110."
So I called Japan's emergency police number and explained the situation as clearly as my limited Japanese allowed.
The officer listened, asked a few questions, and then gave me an instruction that made me stare at the phone in disbelief.
I had to return to the exact location where the accident happened.
Apparently, the police needed to attend the scene and document the incident themselves.
There was just one small problem.
I was already an hour's drive away.

The wise break up relationships by himself without announcing them and without detailing reasons: because adults who demand value and respect were caught red-handed doing otherwise.

Today, I choose to remember and honour two remarkable women in Nigerian medical history.
Dr. Agnes Yewande Savage qualified as a medical doctor in 1929, becoming the first Nigerian woman to do so while Dr. Elizabeth Abimbola Awoliyi became the first woman to practise medicine in Nigeria.
Imagine breaking those barriers as women of African heritage nearly a century ago.
How many Nigerians know their names and celebrate them today? Their stories deserve to be remembered, and their contributions must never be forgotten. 🇳🇬

Have you ever been kidnapped before?
Well i have and i can say it's one of the worst experiences someone can go through
I thank God everyday that i survived it and it has made me extra cautious till date
Being tied up and held against your will while they call your relatives and friends to raise money for ransom is a nightmare one may never wake up from
The worst part is that paying the ransom isn't even a guarantee that you will see your loved ones alive again
I pray we don't fall into the hands of kidnappers as it has become too rampant in Nigeria nowadays
Be safe and vigilant out there 🙏🏾
