Last week was electric. I got to attend the @Web3LagosCon and trust me, it was one of the most wholesome experiences I’ve had in a while. Unlike other conferences that require long flights, this was just a 2-hour drive from my place… yet it felt like I traveled into a whole new world of knowledge, people, and opportunities. Meeting people IRL for the first time was special. Some even walked up to me saying, “I know you from X!” — moments like that hit different. I finally connected with amazing folks like @SamuelXeus, @SantiagoDevRel, @InfluencerDee, and many more. And yes, I made sure to capture the memories — because what’s a conference without the pictures to prove it? But beyond the pictures, the conversations were my highlight. I had the chance to sit with developers and creators and introduce them to Polkadot — breaking down how projects like @hyperbridge, the no.1 decentralized bridge, and @Bifrost are opening up real DeFi opportunities across the ecosystem. The curiosity from the attendees was inspiring. People wanted to learn, to ask, to understand. And the @PolkadotAfrica team was right there fueling that fire with passion. The energy in the room was unreal. The DOTBULLS ( @dotvibehub )community also showed up strong — myself, @Davidsonjizzle, @Metalmindcodes, @__open_minded , @The_Oracle440 and others, onboarding people left and right. It was one of those moments where you could feel the movement growing right in front of you. I honestly can’t capture it all in one post, but if I had to put one word to it: electric. Web3 Lagos left me inspired, proud, and hungry for what’s next. And guess what? What’s next is even bigger. @blockfestafrica is coming — and it promises to top this one. Zero Hash is dropping SDKs so enterprises can spin up wallets and transfers without touching the backend. Bastion is working with some of the biggest companies in the world on new issuances. The takeaway Stablecoins aren’t niche anymore. They’re becoming the default rail for programmable money.
