Requiem for a Dream introduced me to Darren Aronofsky. While this is a really painful & disturbing watch, Aronofsky directs the hell out of a story about the horrors of addiction & what they can do to a person’s dreams. I’m not sure I’ve seen many films like this- it’s wild.
