Happy Earth Day y’all! Posting the demo for Butterfly Escort to pay homage to the mother, a song I wrote all about her 🌎🌍🌏
One fake sedative demo #1 - arguably my favorite song on the record because it feels good on my throat to sing. Here is a voice note of me playing it for the first time and a little doodle I made for fun.
“The Night It Rained” and “Anatomical Gift” - two poems from my book 'Divine Digest'
I wrote “The Night It Rained” with the tiger theme song in mind, so I read it to the melody.
Thank you for having me read, Nada.
The opening line to “Standard Information” is referencing this very sign on Briley pkwy in Nashville.
“Wave pool exit 10 a state guide sign no billboard ad, I asked for a sign what did I get? Standard information”
The first time I saw this sign I fell in love with it. It cuts right to the chase, lacking any persuasive angle or gimmick. We all grow up on various degrees of a persuasive angle, and I naturally think most things are a scam now before it’s a truth.

Featuring contributions from Paramore members, Elke’s second LP, Divine Urge, pulls from ’60s soul as freely as Y2K pop
