I've always been interested in the big questions, like
▪️was there one interaction that unified gravity with the other forces, and what was it like?
▪️what happened before the Big Bang?
▪️can every even number be written as the sum of exactly two primes, and if so, why?
These led me to study theoretical physics, and later pure mathematics.
In 2023, I felt like AI could be used to solve some of these problems. I got together with my friend @tachim and together, like hedgehogs, we started digging. The deeper we dug, the more opportunity we found, and the more confident we were that nobody else was tackling this. That led us to eventually decide to start a company @HarmonicMath.

Picture Hyperliquid with an onchain economy like Solana’s.
Kinetiq, the team that brought in $1B of deposits in its first 3 weeks and is now the largest protocol on Hyperliquid by TVL, is building Elysium to get there.
HyperEVM is “deliberately constrained”: 3M gas per second, with “little room for sustained high-frequency activity on the EVM itself.”
Meanwhile, Elysium is an L2 with 100-200ms blocks and a 300M gas per second target, about 100x HyperEVM. HYPE is the gas, it settles to HyperEVM, and there’s no new token.
Elysium also opens a direct pathway for tokens, from launch to perps:

→ reach a perp listing through HIP-3
