Lt. Gov.: Lean Dem 🔵 (D+3.5/70% chance)

A.G.: Tilt Dem 🔵 (D+2.5/60% chance)
Agri. Commish.: Likely R 🔴 (R+5/85% chance)
Insurance Commish.: Likely R 🔴 (R+5/85% chance)
State House: Tilt R 🔴 (60% chance)
State Senate: Likely R 🔴 (85% chance)
Keep in mind that these predictions are different than the predictions I have on my website because these are just for fun :)
But I really think this is the year that the GA Dems get their big win that has eluded them since 2018. The summer was just rocky and borderline disastrous with KLB’s campaign having a terrible start and Rick Jackson dumping $100 million in the race. But it really does feel like KLB’s campaign has gotten it together, you can just tell by looking at it and the GA Dems have all the momentum. It’s not like 2024, it really feels like everything is going right and this doesn’t even factor in the early voting data which the Jackson campaign has panicked about publicly. In a competitive election, you want to be playing offense and having late breaking momentum at the very end and the GA Dems are the ones on the offense, there’s no doubt about it in my eyes anymore that they’re going to continue to be on offense and that’s why I’m not waiting to make these predictions anymore. But I won’t fully believe these predictions until I see them happening
I think I’m the most confident about my senate prediction here. I’ve been confident that Ossoff would win by double digits against Mike Collins for the last year and that’s what both the polls and fundamentals show. But it makes the rest of the predictions very hard, simply by the fact that the top of the ticket in GA is usually always a big win for the Republican and not the Democrat and I don’t know how many ancestral republicans will switch to being straight ticket democrats even if it’s just for 2026. My predictions are ordered by confidence
But like I said I think the GA Dems have the momentum and this is the best prediction I can give :)

Two numbers explain 89% of midterm results since 1950 in the House: the generic ballot and the seats the president’s party holds.
This year, that would translate to a Democratic gain of 33 seats.

Tonight, folks across West GA are hearing how @RickJacksonGA invested $20M in a Trump-backed oil refinery and is scheming to send American diesel overseas, which would worsen our pain at the pump. #gapol

"New records obtained by KARE 11 show the company that owned a vacant private prison in Appleton, Minnesota offered to sell it to the state in 2025 for $75 million.
One year later, the Trump administration agreed to use taxpayer funds to buy the same abandoned prison from CoreCivic, Inc., for $495.6 million.
The price difference, $420 million, is more than taxpayers are estimated to have lost in Minnesota’s much-publicized Feeding Our Future fraud scandal." kare11.com/article/news/inve…

A couple days ago, I posted jobs numbers from the past 6 presidents, 3 Republican (Bush I, Bush II, and Trump) and 3 Democratic (Clinton, Obama, and Biden). Over 20 years, nearly 50 million jobs were added under the 3 Democratic presidents, whereas only 2 million have been added under the aforementioned Republicans, over the course of 17 years, 8 months. A good percentage of MAGA responders said something along the lines of, "The Democrat Party only added government jobs! Look at the private sector!"
Very well.
First, let's look at public sector or government jobs.
George H.W. Bush (R, 4 years): +1.127M
Bill Clinton (D, 8 years): +1.934M
George W. Bush (R, 8 years): +1.744M
Barack Obama (D, 8 years): -263k
Donald Trump I (R, 4 years): -575k
Joe Biden (D, 4 years): +1.816M
Donald Trump II (R, 1 year, 8 months): -230k
Democratic Presidents (20 years): +3.487M
Republican Presidents (17 years, 8 months): +2.066M
Difference: Democrats +1.421M/Republicans -1.421M
Not much difference. Now let's move onto the private sector.
George H.W. Bush (R, 4 years): +1.502M
Bill Clinton (D, 8 years): +20.979M
George W. Bush (R, 8 years): -368k
Barack Obama (D, 8 years): +11.812M
Donald Trump I (R, 4 years): -2.19M
Joe Biden (D, 4 years): +13.589M
Donald Trump II (R, 1 year, 8 months): +1.006M
Democratic Presidents (20 years): +46.380M
Republican Presidents (17 years, 8 months): -50k
Difference: Democrats +46.430M/Republicans -46.430M
That's right, over the past 37 years, 8 months, Republican presidents are actually underwater, as far as private-sector jobs go, whereas Democrats are 46 million+ above it. No matter what the GOP tries to sell you on the old, tired narrative that they're better for the economy, the numbers tell a completely different story.

Lowering the Medicare age to 50 would cost $180 billion a year. That's $70 billion less than the budget increase the House passed for the Department of War.
We could have healthcare over warfare.
I'm proud to cosponsor @RepJayapal's bill to lower the age from 65 to 50.
